This is a beautiful facility. I’ve been here twice to visit a friend and I’m very impressed with it.
I wish I had known about this place before my mother needed long-term care. The home is beautiful clean smells clean. The staff is nice. The food looks healthy and good. The courtyard landscaping is designed to keep residence interested and occupied entertainment is provided. I couldn't ask for anything more fish tanks puzzles craft activities. I highly recommend looking into using walnut creek as a home for your loved one if ever needed.
If you can avoid this place do so! It is nearly impossible to get a nurse to actually answer the phone in the neighborhood that your loved one is living in. If you do get someone and you ask them to go do something for your loved one and call you back they never do. Be very careful of leaving anything of value with your family member. It usually ends up missing or stolen. Absolutely no interaction with the care team concerning the day-to-day things they’re supposed to be doing for your loved one. I’m not quite sure if my father ever went to PT because they never gave me updates on what he was…

It usually ends up missing or stolen. Absolutely no interaction with the care team concerning the day-to-day things they’re supposed to be doing for your loved one. I’m not quite sure if my father ever went to PT because they never gave me updates on what he was doing and when he was supposed to be there! We had to clean my father‘s room, MEALS were delivered to my bedridden father on a tray and left there. He was having motor skill issues and they served him a huge piece of chicken that he couldn’t even cut up. Other times MEALS were pieces of bread with cheese in them. Dad entered the facility with lots of clothes he left literally with nothing. Repeated attempts to have his items found were met with oh will let someone know and we’ll get back to you. Thankfully, he is now at a facility that is 10 million times better. Difference between night and day. A care team that calls you even if your loved one has a scratch. A care plan that is sent to you in detail hour by hour is what you should receive when your family member is in a nursing home. You are paying for it and to receive anything less than that is a disgrace. Walnut Creek has a beautiful atmosphere but that is about it.
Everyone at this facility has been helpful, kind, and generous with their time. They’ve treated my aunt very well and made sure she feels comfortable. The facility is beautiful with lots of outdoor patio space.
Friendly, helpful and most importantly they listened.
It's always clean and the staff are great. My friend who resides here is happy, and that's saying a lot
As a visitor, I was quite impressed with this place. When I walked in, it is tastefully decorated, warm and comfortable. A big thing for me, is that there was no offending smells. The staff was very cheerful and helpful. I am glad our aunt is living in such a nice place. She said everyone treats her very well too.
Very friendly staff.
