I am a resident here at Valley Manor. The social services department here has been so kind and understanding. Ashley and Brooke have been helpful and nice. They are always here for me when I need to talk.
I am deeply grateful for the compassion and kindness shown by the staff here. Every visit reassures me that the residents are genuinely cared for and treated with dignity and respect.
I have been living at Valley Manor for three years and they made all the difference in my life, I appreciate the nurses and all the activities that have helped me keep busy while I get stronger and work towards getting back home, Thank you to Therapy also, thanks Valley Manor.
I am a current patient here, valley manor has done so much for me in the last few months. I lost my apartment and was only supposed to be here for a short time. The staff helped me with numerous things that wasn't their job. I am grateful for the help I've received from Valley Manor.
I had a wonderful experience with this nursing home. The staff are compassionate, attentive, and truly care about the residents’ well-being. The facility is clean, welcoming, and provides a safe, comfortable environment. Communication with families has been excellent, and it’s clear the team works hard to make residents feel respected and cared for every day. I’m grateful for the kindness and professionalism shown here and would highly recommend this facility to others looking for quality care.” Great place also Therpahy is amazing
This is by far the WORST facility to communicate with. The administrator never responds, nor does social work, the admissions office or anyone. The front desk staff are ignorant. They do not pick up if they see you calling again. The lack of communication they show towards members of this community is disgraceful. I can only imagine the level of care the residents receive at this facility!
I am writing this review to share my experience with this facility and to warn others. My mother was a resident here, and I was deeply concerned by the level of care she received. There appeared to be chronic understaffing, which resulted in residents not getting timely assistance. On multiple occasions, my mother was left in soiled diapers for extended periods, which is both undignified and a serious health concern. Basic hygiene and care standards were not consistently met. I also observed that residents were not bathed regularly. In addition, I often encountered staff who were dismissive or unresponsive when concerns were raised. While there were a few caregivers who were kind and attentive, the overall experience with staff communication and attitude was very disappointing. When I tried to move my mother to another facility, I received little to no assistance from the staff. The process felt unnecessarily difficult, and I did not feel supported during an already stressful time. Sadly, my mother has since passed away. I am pursuing legal action regarding the care she received. I understand that caregiving is demanding work, but residents deserve dignity, respect, and proper attention. That was not our experience here. I hope this review encourages accountability and helps other families make a better decision. Government needs to take action and shut this place down.
Maintenance is on top of things. It’s great to see!
