What a great place to serve in the community! From Zachery to Lilly-they love the residents of United Zion. It was privilege to serve them with a tap and singing presentation from the decades of the !920's-1960's! It was great to see the ladies dance, sing and go back down memory lane! It was fun to see my grandson light up as Mona was having fun and enjoying her time!
My husband was very fortunate to have been able to go to United Zion for his rehab after he fell and broke his hip. Everyone there, from the care staff to the therapy group and the dining staff were absolutely wonderful. His room fare exceeded what I thought might be possible for his short stay. His privacy was so well respected he could have been at home. We thank United Zion for his wonderful care and for getting him ready to come home as soon as he did.
My mother resides at United Zion with a neurological disorder that requires constant attention and support from her care team. Because she has difficulty communicating, the staff must be exceptionally proactive in meeting her needs. Throughout this challenging journey, the United Zion team ensures that her care is provided with grace, comfort, and dignity. Everyone, from the front desk staff to the nursing team, knows her by name and takes the time to greet her in the hallways. Their compassion extends beyond my mother. They frequently check in on my father and genuinely care about his well-being as well. Also, the social work team has been instrumental in helping our family navigate the many administrative and logistical challenges that come with a complex medical situation. Having my mother at such a high-quality facility, staffed by exceptional professionals, gives our family tremendous peace of mind. We are deeply grateful for the kindness, professionalism, and support we receive every day. I cannot recommend United Zion highly enough.
My father was in United Zion Retirement Community for rehabilitation 2 times in the last 6 months. We could not have been happier with the care he received. His needs and safety were a priority at all times. I received many direct phone calls to be kept in the loop of his care. The staff genuinely cared about our father’s progress and success in reaching the goal of returning home. The facility is extremely clean and very pleasant to be in. The reception area is warm and friendly. I would strongly recommend this facility for any family who needs this type of resource.
Our loved one was admitted to the rehab unit for 6 weeks of IV therapy. She passed away 4 weeks later from complications unrelated to her admission. We were very disappointed with nursing judgement on the part of the nurses and nurse practitioner. We repeatedly addressed our concerns regarding her medical condition and it was minimized and not treated as it should have been. Very obvious symptoms were unaddressed for weeks! There was one CNA who was exemplary, but other care of CNAs was subpar. We were very frustrated & very disappointed with our experience here! We will not use this facility again!
I hope the residents of the new development which consists of upscale high rent cottages enjoy their new home. United Zion kicked out low income senior citizens for the construction of the new expansion. I hope you people can sleep at night knowing that you have displaced over 100 people, some that have disabilities.
Any company who kicks residents out of their homes because the land was repurposed doesn't deserve any money. Leave Plateau Village Mobile Home Park in Litiz alone and just hire a company to manage the property so those residents that live there can still have a roof over their head.
They do not care for the people they set out to help, or they wouldnt evict on such short notices. Crazy they do horrible things like that and flex the biblical card using "United zion" as their name.
