If I could I would give them no stars. The NC state board needs to close place! I went there for pulmonary and muscle rehab. I never had my b/p, my oxygen saturation, absolutely nothing from them. Expect your medication to be at the least 2 hours late. Not even given a wash cloth! Told to urinate on myself , which you have to do due to the fact of someone ever showing up to assist you to the bathroom. I had extensive lung infection. The social worker flat out lied about my discharge. It’s a wonder I didn’t die. Im a retired RN and I can’t believe the state is allowing this! I wasn’t abused…

My mother-in-Law's stay at Twin Pines was very positive! The facility is clean, The staff is pleasant and caring . They make you feel welcome. Mom had some amazing aides, ones I will never forget. When it was time to bring mom home, several of her aides came to me and said If I needed anything to give them a call (it's just mom and me) At a very low point, when I couldn't find a way to get a hospital bed home, I asked God to send me a hero. And he sent me 2, Rob (maint. super) and Adam (admn.) They found out and brought the bed home for me (love u guys). So it's not just patient care, it's…

We consistently provide mobile notary services to Twin Pines Healthcare Center and have always had an outstanding experience with both residents and their families. The staff here is exceptionally cordial and accommodating. Additionally, the building itself is remarkably modern.
I have looked at other facilities, this one has been a huge relief for my sister and I. From the warm welcoming when you come in the door, James and Deitra the nurses on moms wing, treat her like there own, which says a lot right there! They have activities throughout the day. It is clean . The food is good. I can not comment enough about this place and the blessing we found it to take good care of her and knowing she is in good hands and well taken care of!
Great staff always friendly and outgoing willing to assist with anything. Everyone goes above and beyond
This facility is beautiful and well-maintained. The staff is friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. They take great care of their residents and everyone seems happy.
This was my first experience with choosing any type of rehab facility or nursing home. It's overwhelming when you're dealing with an ill loved one and have no firsthand familiarity with any of the facilities that have openings. I set about reading reviews and paid careful attention to both the good and bad reviews of each place I was considering for my mom. It is important to weigh and measure exactly what the reviewers are saying, especially the bad reviews. It's important to read between the lines and figure out whether the bad review is truly warranted, or whether the reviewer's expectations might be unrealistic. First I want to say that our experience with Twin Pines exceeded all of our expectations and then some. Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted in my mom's room by the wonderful social worker, LaToya. She introduced us to nurse Dylan and made us feel at home. Dylan immediately set about tending to my mom, taking her vitals and assessing her. She asked to take a shower because she had not showered in the hospital for nearly a week. Within minutes, an aid arrived to the room and got my mom showered and dressed. Through the evening, Dylan was in and out as were the aids, bringing my mom her medications, dinner, and anything else she needed. We never had to wait longer than a few minutes, if that, for someone to arrive to the room every time we used the call bell. This level of personalized, timely attention was maintained throughout her entire stay. Some of the reviews mentioned that they felt the facility is understaffed. That was absolutely not our experience. There were many staff members around at all times, ready and waiting to assist her with anything she needed at any time, day or night. Every staff member was kind, caring, and absolutely lovely to deal with. My mom made leaps and bounds in her progress, and was ready to come home in six days. Our experience with Twin Pines was wonderful. I could not have asked for anything better. Thank you so much to the excellent staff, the nurses, doctors, PT and OT technicians, the aids, social workers, front desk and maintenance staff, and everyone associated with Twin Pines. We are truly grateful for the excellent care you gave my mom. She is now resting comfortably at home due to the great care she received. I would definitely recommend Twin Pines to anyone seeking a great place to recover!
My dad recently spent 5 days at Twin Pines rehabbing after discharge from the hospital. He was treated very well. Special shout out to Tanika, his case manager extraordinaire, his nurse manager Michelle and his PT guy Chris who literally got him back on his feet. Really appreciate the care he received.
