My sister is there for rehab, due to a knee replacement and a femur repair after she fell. The physical therapy department is absolutely wonderful!
My mom was sent there or should I say dumped there. They lie constantly. They rescheduled and then lied about important medical appointments. Claiming they had no transportation. I go days and weeks without hearing from my mom she can not use her hands and they will not take out time to call me for her. She is 67 miles away from family and they do not make calls to family for her. She has personal belongings missing. Again they lie with straight faces and their professionalism is the worst I have ever encountered.
This is not what my sister's room Looked like. It looked like dump. The most of the staff was nice. The place has a horrible smell. Probably from the deodorizer. Your family member is held prisoner. Not allowed outside or outside to smoke. She has cancer. Don't recommend
Nobody answers the phone for a long time or never, and when they do you are connected to the other ward. One day last week a patient had the portable phone, and would not give it back , and I kept trying to get a hold of my sister for 2 hours, never got through, and when I told them they just ignored me. I left messages for the Social worker, and Head nurse to call me, they never do. The food they serve looks disgusting, and when I visited my sister, she had a dirty shirt on.
This facility is very dirty! You can tell that it's simply unkept, and it's extremely unsanitary! It smells something awful! Urine and bm is the air you breathe there! We brought our loved one in today We did not get back even 1/2 of the clothes we brought in. No return calls from anyone to replace.
This facility is very dirty! You can tell that it's simply unkept, and it's extremely unsanitary! It smells something awful! Urine and bm is the air you breathe there! We brought our loved one in today & thankfully he has been moved. This is also a VA approved facility. They also packed up my Fathers belongings & We did not get back over 1/2 the stuff i brought there myself. Ive called numerious times & left messages with no return phone call. The aides & nurses are very rude & unprofessional then questioned myself as to why my loved one needed to be there & why i couldnt do it myself!!!!!
It takes them forever to answer the phone at the front desk. Then you go through the same thing when they transfer you to the nurses station.
This facility is very dirty! You can tell that it's simply unkept, and it's extremely unsanitary! It smells something awful! Urine and bm is the air you breathe there! We brought our loved one in today, sent from the hospital, for short term rehabilitation. There's no side rails on the beds, and he would surely fall out of bed without those in place, as he's a roller! His tv was broken, so he had nothing to watch. He didn't eat his supper, as he didn't like the taste, and he always eats everything on his plate elsewhere! EVERYTHING! There's patient's in the hall screaming the entire time we were there, which was upsetting to our loved one. Mind you, he was a new admittance, and nobody came to his room all day to talk to us, or ask questions, nothing. Very unprofessional! On one brighter note, the staff I rang for were friendly, and nice. And they had a cute carnival outside tonight, with a couple singing old country hits! I took my loved one out to enjoy the music, and breathe some fresh air! They had nice treats for the patient's also at this event! But at the end of the evening, his family decided to take our loved one home. We just could not see leaving him in such dirty conditions. They will search for another facility for him to receive rehabilitation, in the morning! I feel truly sad for the residents living there. At one time, that was probably a really nice facility... it's just now poorly ran, not kept clean and sanitary, and not maintained at all. I pray that will change in the future... I can't believe the state hasn't shut this place down, honestly! And any positive reviews here, have to be coming from paid staff. So please, go check it out for yourself, before placing your loved one!! That's something we should have done! But we just trusted the hospital wouldn't send us to a dirty place? Won't make that mistake again! God bless you, and your loved ones!
