Facility looks beautiful but after a few weeks you realize just like every place else. They are very short staffed and some of aides do not interact with residents. When you call for a nurse you could wait for a hour and usually get med tech no nurse. Be careful in your decision to place love one here.
My Mother Inlaw Stayed There For Over 3 Years And We Were Very Pleased With The Entire Staff. I See The Negative Reviews, People Don't Realize In An Assisted Living Facility Your Loved One Has To Be Able To Do Some Things Themselves With Help !
My mom has been living there for a few months now. While there was a small adjustment period - she is now thriving. It’s a beautiful place, the staff is always friendly and helpful. You truly feel like its one big family. I am so grateful to have found Tapestry at the right time for Mom!
Great staff! Very hardworking and made you feel like they cared deeply about each member.
Tapestry memory care is the worse. They have a few caring personnel but most do not interact with the clients. I never show them toilet anyone. Plus the food looks horrible. There breakfast sandwiches is on a hamburger buns. There caregiver need retrain in how to be caring. Tapestry should be ashamed of themselfs on how memory care, don't care.
Everyone there is kind and helpful. I was worried about my mom adjusting and making friends, but everyone is really welcoming.
Activities for memory care patients were minimal to non-existent. Administrative nursing staff was not receptive to concerns or opinions from family members.
This is by far one of the WORST places I've EVER seen. If you love your loved one please DO NOT put them here. We toured it in November it didn't seem bad. So we put our mom in here. She was a very active lady walked several miles a day no problems with falls. She was in here for 5 months and ended up falling 3 times 2 of them She ended up with a brain bleed and the 3rd fall she broke her wrist in 2 places. They always said it was an Unwitnessed fall. She was very scared of the black man that worked on her floor. I dont believe for one second that she fell by herself. She lost a lot of weight, She was very depressed. I came in there one day and she had all kinds of plates with moldy food on them. Garbage everywhere in her room. Many times she never had Toilet paper she was wiping with a wash cloth. They locked up her shampoo, and soap bc she was in memory care but they NEVER helped her get a shower so her hair had a thick yellow crust on her scalp from not bathing. The list goes on. I'm just writing this review so that nobody makes the mistake we did. She's now at Juniper Village in South Hills and is doing so much better! PLEASE think twice before you put your loved one in this HELL HOLE.
