Poor management. Some of the residents are abused and fear saying something because they fear management doing something to them. Poor quality staff that can't seem to do their jobs right. The state is there all the time because they're constantly being called for elderly abuse. The director doesn't call about any of the residents. I was there for 5 months more or less and so many residents died because of poor care from the nursing staff. The state is there all the time because they're constantly being called for elderly abuse. The director doesn't call about any of the residents. I was there for 5 months more or less and so many residents died because of poor care from the nursing staff. As soon as a resident starts to decline a little the director will automatically try to sell that residents room. While I worked there I watched as the director was selling a residents room while she was in there and the resident started crying because they did it right in front of her. The residents are nothing but a paycheck to these people. I don't recommend anybody work or take their families to Symphony manor unless you want their health to decline faster from poor care
Staff was very nice, room was a good size. It is a shame they closed.
Symphony Manor of Feasterville is overall a beautiful community of caring people. No matter where you are, families must make their presence known and keep in contact with care givers to make their loved ones' needs known.
My parents were at Symphony. They got terrible care. Call bells not answered. Care withheld from patients. Staff removed the only communication device from my parents room. So we could no communicate with them during COVID. They said that the device was not allowed by law. After meeting with ombudsman and the state turns out they are allowed. I will regret the day I sent my parents to this facility. Don’t be fooled by the prices.
This ALF is run by a management company that cares about nothing but cutting cost… people that live there DO NOT get the care they are paying for … there also is a high turnover of staff .. because staff are not treated well … it is a shame …. It could be a great place if someone cared more about human beings then money
My grandmother just moved into Symphony Manor and they have been so wonderful to me and my family. They made me feel at ease during this transition that felt so scary and complicated. The care team has been taking extra special notice of my grandma even since before we moved in! I feel like they treat us individually and get to know us as people, rather than treating us like a sale. I love the family feeling we get from the staff. Highly recommend!
Based on the experience our family has had with Symphony Manor of Feasterville, and the staff tries hard with activities which is good. I do not receive any updates. For [fee removed] a month pay additional for diapers ?
The main thing that impressed me was the size of the rooms- MUCH roomier that the others I saw. Also a nice common area and courtyard. I would say they are a good place to be. The staff and nurses are attentive and approachable. There are many activities and the staff encourages residents to join in. We entered Symphony Manor in the middle of COVID and while I was impressed on our tour, I was rather unhappy with the way things were playing out. Little communication, never saw anyone, the doctor was unreachable and ordered things I did not understand. I was seriously considering moving my brother-in-law. However, in the last couple of months there has been a complete change of staff - directors, financial , nursing - they held a meeting and introduced everyone - new doctor as well!! Totally different - positive attitude, I feel heard.
