I spoke with Damien in the call center, who provided a thorough explanation of their services and a comprehensive verbal tour of the facility. His professional, patient, and informative approach made a potentially stressful process much easier to navigate. Although we have not visited the center in person yet, Damien's exceptional customer service gave us a very clear understanding of what they offer and left us with a highly positive first impression.
My grandmother has been staying here for at least a year now. She had to move from the first floor to the memory care unit on the third floor since she has dementia and she broke her hip. Initially we found that the care on the third floor was worse than the care received on the first floor. We often found my grandmother’s room to be messy and dirty. Initially some of the staff seemed less attentive. We recently discussed our concerns with the executive director. I think that things have improved since then. I think my grandmother is receiving better care and more attention. Also her room…

I think my grandmother is receiving better care and more attention. Also her room appears to be less messy and dirty. I hope that things continue to improve.
The staff and residents of this facility were unfailingly kind and compassionate to us during a time of great stress and overwhelming sadness. We greatly appreciate their help.

Last night I was walking into acme when I saw a gentleman walk out with a Sunrise name tag. Due to my father becoming more ill & declining, I asked if he had a second. He was extremely pleasant and took the time to explain the process and how Sunrise is the right choice. Damien showed me some pictures of the Newtown Square location, and it is gorgeous, especially the back court yard. Unfortunately, we are looking in southern Delaware, he even took the time to inform me of the location in Wilmington and that there are some in Maryland. I have only positive things to say as Damien & his wife patiently answered all my questions & was extremely understanding and patient with me standing outside an acme.

Very pleasant atmosphere and surrounding area, friendly staff and residents, incredibly clean and a “home-like” environment when you walk in. Much more beautiful than many other communities I have visited
As a Care Taker and Home Health Aid, it’s common to have questions as every individual has specific needs. Sunrise certainly seems to have the perfect facility for any senior. Damien answered my call, gave me a verbal tour and when I looked up the facility later on, his explanation perfectly matched everything on the website. His friendly voice was also a reassurance that those I care for would absolutely feel comfortable at Sunrise. Thank you Damien!
