The Team members who works there are very welcoming you are greeted with smiles and a very warm welcoming feeling as you would if u was home 🏡
My grandmother stayed at Sunrise back in 2002 and had a good experience. This was a big reason why we decided to take my mother there recently. My mother told me on several occasions that she genuinely enjoyed being at Sunrise, which was not something I expected her to say. It made me feel so much better about sending her there. No facility is perfect. There are so many challenges that caretaker’s face trying to make everyone feel comfortable especially when many of them are very sick. The staff worked like a team and seemed to get along well with each other and pitched in to help each other.…

No facility is perfect. There are so many challenges that caretaker’s face trying to make everyone feel comfortable especially when many of them are very sick. The staff worked like a team and seemed to get along well with each other and pitched in to help each other. That was another thing that impressed me.
When the previous facility wouldn't take her back after she fell out of her wheelchair, Sunrise made arrangements to have her moved and got her a different wheelchair and all the equipment she needed.
The faculties and staff at Sunrise Sr Living take the time to get to know your resident. They find ways to connect with them, that are meaningful. The facility is clean, and well managed over all.
My father was mostly bed ridden, so their goal is to get you up everyday , however in my opinion they are not prepared to offer the level of care my father needed. I was there everyday to make sure he was taken care of. if you are capable of walking, feeding yourself, and joining activities it is a wonderful place. Very clean and beautiful environment. Comfort Care requires family assistance
Once the sales team lures you in with their promises of strict attention to hygiene and personal care unique to your loved one’s needs, their promises fall flat. Numerous residents died in the month of January 2025, including our beloved aunt. We asked the individuals in charge to give her a second chest X-ray because we felt she was much sicker than we were led to believe. It never took place. Shortly thereafter, she died from acute hypoxic respiratory failure, influenza, severe sepsis, streptococcus bacteremia and atrial fibrillation. Pricing is convoluted and raised at their whim with no improvement of care for the resident for the upgraded charges. A word to the wise…Look carefully at your billing if you are already involved with this facility. If not, avoid Sunrise at Granite Run at all costs. It was a very frustrating and sad experience for myself and my family. My aunt was only there for 5 months.
They make you that your family member be happy living here. I checked several places before making my choice. They made me feel like I was welcomed
From the first conversation over the phone to our visit at Sunrise, Pam Barton and staff listened and helped my brother transition to his apartment that would cater to his needs. Most importantly they help to find the right fit for my brother.
