Out of all the facilities I have ever been with my grandpop, Statesman is by far the best! Kind & caring staff always eager to help. I am happy to have my grandpop here. He is happy and content and well taken care of. The activities staff is great, the food is good and the housekeeping team is amazing.
excellent management team. portrays the true essence of caring. they treat u like family not just “a patient”.
My brother was here for rehab then long term care. He loved the people, said the food was plentiful and good. He participated in the activities, and was so happy there.
Great nursing home with caring and friendly staff. The facility is clean, and the residents are treated with kindness and respect. I would recommend it to anyone looking for quality care for a loved one.
One of the best skilled nursing and rehab centers in the area. The therapy department, nursing staff, and support teams work hard every day to provide quality care and help residents recover and thrive.
My experience with this facility has been great. The staff is amazing and they go above and beyond to take care of the residents at the facility. I have never experienced such an awesome group of people who work so well as a team to provide the care needed.
It took me a year before I wrote this review because I want to give an honest, objective review without emotions involved. My father came here after a long ICU stay and was ventilator dependent. We were told they had a great respiratory program. We found out that they have 1 respiratory therapist who was there only on Thursdays. The family must live there if you don't want your loved one to die. My father stayed about a week before I called 911 and had him taken back to the hospital. 4 out of 7 days his humidifier for his trach collar was completely emptied. I started filling it daily because I could not trust the extremely overworked staff. They have a ring the button to get into the facility on 2 occasions no one let us in. When we complained the staff fought with one another as to whose job it was to answer the door. However, the last straw was when I came to visit my dad and saw him laying on a mat on the floor completely out of his mind and a dog was at his feet. I love dogs but not near a very sick man with a tracheostomy who can't breathe. The nurse on told me that my dad was fine. I looked at her like she had 3 heads. Thank God I called 911. My dad was rushed to the hospital where his carbon dioxide levels were toxic and he had a mini stroke. Please don't send your loved one here unless you can spend every waking hour with them. Also, don't count on those nurses to assess your loved one correctly. Had i not been there every single day my father would be dead. This is not a place for respiratory related issues. One therapist does not equal a respiratory program.
My relative is currently a patient at the facility and the room they are in is basically a storage room with beds in it. There is so much debris in the room it is a fall and cleanliness hazard. One of the patients has blocked one of the entrance doors and with all the debris in the room if there is an emergency they may not be able to get the patients out. Yesterday there was a very harsh bleach odor in the room. I was told by 2 hospital social workers that this is now a 5 star facility but the living conditions my relative is in should be condemed. I requested to speak with someone was told they were all in a meeting and I would receive a call back still waiting after 2 days.
