A friend is in the rehab section and while the nurses are wonderful, the food is awful, practically inedible. One of the nurses even said the food is bad.
My father was in TCU twice this spring and received excellent care. We couldn't have been happier with the nursing staff, therapists and the case manager.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Jalessa Taylor and Julien Whitfield, Director of Social Services at St. Joseph Manor, and their professionalism and dedication are truly exceptional. Both bring a level of compassion, organization, and follow‑through that makes a real difference for residents and their families. Jalessa is consistently warm, responsive, and solutions‑focused. She communicates clearly, advocates strongly for her residents, and ensures every detail is handled with care. Julien leads with calm expertise and a genuine commitment to quality care. His guidance, coordination, and steady professionalism set the tone for a department that operates with integrity and efficiency. Together, they create a supportive, well‑run environment that reflects the highest standards of social services. St. Joseph Manor is fortunate to have such capable and compassionate leaders, and I highly recommend both without hesitation.
All I can say is my Aunt was very well taken care of!!! Asha is my girl !! My Aunt absolutely adored her. I also felt very comfortable leaving knowing my Aunt was with Asha 💪💯💪 Lislande was also very sweet!! Thank you Girls!!
Highly recommend. My father lived on the 3rd floor and memorycare floors. Staff and admin were excellent, truly caring for patients, respectful and clean. The communication with and empathy for us family members was excellent as well. Grateful our father was cared for at St Joseph's.
Love the people here! Our family happy here!
My auntie is living at SJ's, the second facility we have used. Nurses and aids are caring and efficient. The second floor, as I have observed, is clean. Given I am with my aunty 4-5 days per week, including for meals, the food menu feels a bit repetitive, but this has a lot to do with my auntie's eating restrictions and capabilities. Mostly, the food is prepared well and tasty. The aids and kitchen staff are friendly and accommodating, no matter my constant requests. My auntie does not take part in social or recreational activities, but the staff is understanding of her wishes and finds other ways to make her smile and feel comfortable. Whenever auntie has any kind of discomfort or illness, the nurses provide care promptly. The spiritual support at St. Joseph's is excellent. Auntie receives communion several times per week, often given by one of the resident sisters, who take time to chat with both me and auntie. Nursing home life is not like home living, no matter how good the staff and facility are. But my time with my Aunt at Saint Joseph's has made me feel like part of a family.
