My mother has been at Beaver Meadows since 2017. The facilities are great and the staff is fantastic! The entire staff provides outstanding care and they keep an open line of communication with me as needed. I couldn’t be happier with the care my mother is receiving at Beaver Meadows!

Hello, my mom was in Beaver Meadows for 1 month in 2024. It is a beautiful facility that is very clean & odor free. The staff work in "blocks" which was a new term to me. They are the same employees 1st half of the week & same with the second half. This allows the staff to better know the residents and residents their caregivers (wonderful). The staff is very nice & compassionate. They are very attentive. My mom was very happy there & never felt alone even when she chose to stay in her room. This is a great place to work. They made me feel welcome from day one and when you have questions about anything they have answers or they find you the answer. Residents are nice and friendly so is the staff. Management is helpful.

Nice facility. Residents have a library, nice dining hall, activities, Christmas party, good security, ample staff, attractive building, and an open atmosphere for residents to mingle. 24/7 good cofee and the staff is good. friendly. secure building, all levels from assisted living to hospice. Expensive, but nice, we volunteered there before covid ock downs. They are secure in not letting people visit to protect the residents.

My father was at Beaver Meadows. It's part of St. Barnabas. It was good, I didn't have any problem, and they were responsive. I felt they took good care of my dad. The room he was in was nice. It was carpeted, and he had his own bathroom. I never ate the food there. He seemed OK with it. They always had bingo and they played a lot of bingo but my dad wasn't interested in that. Some of the staff members were excellent and some of them weren't so good. Sometimes my dad's room wasn't really clean. I never ate the food, so I had no idea.

I found Beaver Meadows for my mom. We chose it because it was a mile from my house. I know a friend there, and she really loved the place. You have to prove that you have enough money to stay there for 2 years, if after 2 years you run out of money, they don't kick you out, you can continue to stay, and that was a big factor. They help you in and out of shower, they dispense your medicines, and help you get up if you need help and other stuff like that. I think the staff is pretty nice, the room is nice, and it has a beautiful bathroom, and the view of the outside woods. She has a decent size room for what she needs. It's a really clean place, bright and cheerful. The food, they have 3 meals a day, you have a choice of what you want, and the hall has always smelled delicious. They have a really good menu.

My mom has moved into Beaver Meadows. I like it. I think they treat her very well and I think they have everything under control. The staff members are very friendly. I don't think there's very many activities going on right now with COVID. They have bingo, they have a salon, and they have a therapy room.

My mother has lived there for approximately 3-4 years and the staff and employees who work there are very good when it comes to the care of the residents, my mother in particular. The one thing that there is room for improvement is providing residents (my mother in particular) their requested medical care and medicines/rubs within a reasonable timeframe. There have been too many times when those requested items were not provided at all, or provided many hours since being requested. One other thing I've heard from my mother is not being able to see the Dr. when requested. Sometimes it's days/weeks before she would be able to see him. The other types of care my mother receives is very good. She receives great assistance from the nurses aids in helping her with dressing, showering, hair cutting (during the lock-down), etc. My mother has been very pleased overall living there.
