When I moved my mom into the facility, everyone was so pleasant. The food selection was quite impressive. Other places, I visited only had 2 options to choose from, but here there are many options. The activities calendar was full of games to simulate the mind and mom's favorite, bingo. I feel comfortable that since I can't care for my mom, she is well cared for here.
My cousin is at Senior Care Plaza. So far, it seems great, and she's happy. They are treating her well. The deciding factors were that it was within her price range, which was great, and it's a decent place. It's on a busy street, which I didn't like too much, but it's OK. From what she says, they have a beauty shop, a beautician and a manicurist come in, and they have physical therapy available that she uses. So far everything has been good. The people have been very nice, and they escort her if she has a doctor's appointment. I have to call and make sure that someone is available to go with…

They have people there who can act as a companion and so far, it's been a good experience. They are doing a good job. When I was at the facility, COVID protocols were in effect, so I really couldn't go in, but from what I saw, it was well maintained, and the people were very nice. The only thing I'd give a "one" rating to is the food, and I heard her complaining about that, but she was pleased with the rest of it.
Staff neglecting residents. Busy doing personal business on the clock. When assistance requested by family we are blown off. Other residents are not paid attention to despite visitors witnessing staff. Floors are sticky and the building smells like soiled linen or diapers. Will be calling management.
I would not recommend this place to anyone. The staff is verbally abusive to residents. They lose medication. When there is a concern or problem it never gets addresses. They fluff people off. the aids are cruel to the residents. They don't give the proper care to the residents. Make then lay in soiled garments and not attend to them when needed.
This is a terrible place. I moved my father out of the facility after about 1 month. They are completely unprofessional and there is a total lack of communication between staff members. I can't believe that they are licensed. If you care about your loved one, do not use this facility.

This is a verynice facility. I’ve had the pleasure of working with owner Alma. The staff is always very nice, the facility is always very well kept and most importantly, the tentents always look to be having a great time.
