My mother was here for 2 1/2 yrs, and at first it was great. But I moved her out because the care had noticably gone downhill. Obviously understaffed, there were times that no staff would be on the floor of the memory care unit because both of them (yes, just 2 for a memory care unit of approximately 38 to 40 residents with some form of dementia) were in a resident's room assisting them with getting in or out of bed, or using the restroom. Lights were routinely turned off in the common area by 6:30 to 7 pm as staff wanted to encourage everyone to go to bed, presumably so their (the staff's)…

Lights were routinely turned off in the common area by 6:30 to 7 pm as staff wanted to encourage everyone to go to bed, presumably so their (the staff's) evening would go smoothly. Meanwhile, I was left trying to play a game of cards with Mom using my cellphone flashlight. Not to mention the residents walking about, with a dog running around, in dark & unsupervised. Not safe! Food quality also went downhill & no matter how many times I reminded them she had few teeth and couldn't chew well, she was routinely served hard foods so she refused to eat. Great layout, nurses were very nice. Too bad it's not as good as it has the potential to be.
I walked into this facility in February 2023 not knowing they had 22 cases of Covid. There was no notice on the front door, the website, nor did I receive notification by phone. This was risky business, not only for the residents, but the families. Residents get baths every 7-10 days. There were heaping piles of my loved ones laundry on the floor of his closet (there is another lien by the borough of Conneautville for nonpayment of water bills for the second time on this facility.) My family member did not receive pain meds as ordered by Hospice nor on time. Don’t be fooled by Bible verses or…

My family member did not receive pain meds as ordered by Hospice nor on time. Don’t be fooled by Bible verses or Holy Cross emblems on their website or Facebook, this is an insult to my Catholic faith. Nursing was not able to understand hospice verbiage. How can Rolling Field’s nursing not be able to understand orders given by Hospice? That is a VERY good question… Don’t take chances, keep your elderly family members at home, and keep them safe. I heard Rolling Fields is closing, can anyone verify that?
Horrible place! Elders get yelled out by the CNA and the nurses supervisor doesn't care. Therapy department is AMAZING.
Horrible place! The nurses are great! Alot of the CNA are Horrible they through clothes at the elders and tell them to get dress and they need to figure it out, takes the walker from an elder and tells them to learn to walk. Absolutely horrible. Physical therapy and OT is AMAZING. we love them, I would definitely recommend them for PT and OT but long term care not so much. I wish I could give them a negative stars.
Trying to resolve billing issues after a loved one has past is not something a family member should have to deal with. The unavailability of the billing office to call back and answer questions or even to bill the appropriate insurance(s)
Kind, compassionate, professional and personal care.
We chose Rolling Fields for my husband. It's good so far, the staff is good, he hasn't been there too long, and I haven't had any issues or anything. It's a very small community, it's sort of in a country setting, and it's very pretty there. He's able to be up and around, they have a courtyard where they can go outside, so he likes that, I know.
Our family member receives wonderful personalized care . The facility has beautiful grounds, the energy is positive, and it's just a very upbeat place to be!
