This is my first time being here but it is very. Nursing Home Everybody is respectful. Very Clean. Movie day Therapy sessions The food is not to bad. Coffee is really good.

Some staff members here are excellent, but others fall far short of expectations. One social worker in particular, Stacy Dunn, can be very kind when it benefits her, but her attitude can change quickly and unpredictably. The facility itself often has an unpleasant odor, which raises concerns about cleanliness. The food quality is below average, and there have been issues with medication errors and poor communication among staff. Overall, there are significant concerns about the level of care and consistency. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this facility.

The staff were very helpful while I visited a friend today.

The nurses are very plesent the make everyone fill at home and also the vistos they treat everyone with respect.

This place is absolutely disgusting, my Dad is there on hospice with a few weeks left and the amount of stuff I have proof of thank God is absolutely horrid and how they treat people and my Dad… the call light rings and rings for over 20 minutes the nurses at the desk eating away while they can hear the call light going off, my Dad has to climb out of bed to find someone for help, his meds are due every 2 hours it’s been sooo many hours and nothing, they said they are understaffed with 2 aids to 60 patients! The aids are ignorant absolutely ignorant! I am sooooooo happy I have proof of all the stuff I witnessed ;) they don’t even deserve one star don’t ever take your family there they can care less I can go on and on and say so much more…me and my family are livid…. The amount of people that have messaged me and told me get my Dad out of this place is sad!!!!!!!! Offering my dad food when he is NPO and on a feeding tube!!!!! Ohhh and me and my mom tried calling for 2 hours last night non stop because my Dad called crying and in pain and no one to help him…no answer at all at this place… I have proof of that as well….eventually I got ahold of someone and whoever she was …. I know the exact date and time so they will know who is working… That Nurse had no idea who I was and just answered anything I asked told me about my dad‘s medication‘s. Didn’t ask who I was didn’t see if I was in his chart at all, that is HIPAA…….and 2 aids to 60 patients… the supervisor told me!!!! Really that has to be illegal!!!! Freaking disgusting……

Giving this facility 1 star is actually generous. My father was here for 1 week. The food was terrible, most nurses and aids were so rude to the patients and my mother when she was visiting. They flat out lie or make up answers to questions you have. As someone in healthcare, I at least had the background to catch their errors. You could ring the bell for assistance and you would be lucky if someone came to check on you in less than 20 minutes. Meanwhile 2 or 3 staff talking and standing around at the nurses' station. As someone with previous experience as a pharmacist in long term care I am aware of the challenges LTC facilities face with staffing, but do not trust Riverstreet Manor with your loved one as I can't imagine a worse experience. Finally, if someone you love needs to go into a LTC facility, no matter how brief the stay, bring an up to date medication list and ask to compare with their med list upon admission.

This place is horrible!! I was sent here for rehab before my second surgery because I shattered my leg just above the ankle and broke my shoulder. I'm a pretty healthy 60 year old but am unable to go to the bathroom by myself because of my injuries and they made me wait for ridiculous amounts of time after pressing the call button to come help me. One time I set a timer on my phone and it took them 38 minutes to answer, I had soiled myself by then and had to have the bed and my gown changed. They tried to get me to wear "briefs" aka adult diapers when all I need is a commode or bedpan. When I commented on the ridiculous amounts of time and that when I was a nurse's aide in the 90s I NEVER let anybody wait that long the nurse told me that "times are different now"! They then left the light above my bed on when I wanted to sleep!! I'm humiliated and traumatized by my experience and plan on filing a lawsuit for neglect and abuse. PLEASE DON'T SEND YOUR LOVED ONES TO THIS PLACE!!!

This home is just as vile as almost any other LTC. It is completely unsanitary and those flies all over. A few of the staff were polite enough but the overall atmosphere was miserable. Luckily my patient is only here for a short time. I wasn't even there for an hour, and I already witnessed multiple obvious violations. It was a holiday so the administration was out of the office. Miserable does not fully describe the charge nurse who I spoke to briefly. At least I'm presuming she is a charge nurse since she did not properly identify herself. As with some other nurses in the field, she immediately offered a condescending in hostile impression. I adjust myself as being a nursing aide and very politely inquired about an update about my patient. Understandably, she informed me that I'm not on the list of contacts so I backed off. I only took a chance on asking because of my years of experience I've had numerous times where facilities have offered a gist of information about one of the people I care for. I'm very politely told her that it is all good and I will just ask so-and-so next time I speak with her. This older blonde woman immediately proceed my comment as a threat. She barked at me that it was HIPAA law. I am well aware of HIPAA law as I just introduced myself as a healthcare professional. But I simply told her that I was not trying to argue with her I was just letting you know that it's not a big deal, and I will ask the family later. She had the same nasty glare and attitude when I came back to ask her if I can go to the kitchen to get my patient a coffee. She then asked me in all attitude telling me that I had to wait until 3:30 or 4:00. Someone else nicely informed me that she was lying and proceeded to call the kitchen to get my patient a coffee. I have no idea what a hassle a coffee. There was no excuse to give someone a hard time about a coffee, just like there's no excuse why my patient is without shoes. Some people will say that the grippy socks are enough to walk around in. But if you are actually experienced, you'll understand that the grippy socks are not enough and there's still no excuse not to have shoes on. Especially for a patient who has a fall history, and that is why she's there to begin with. Also the patient in question was very highly agitated to the point that I have to wonder if the facility is actually providing her medications appropriately.
