Of the three places we visited, it is just Redstone Highlands at North Huntingdon that we were impressed with right now. It was a very informative tour. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the place. The staff could not show us a two-bedroom unit, which is what we would prefer, but we got to tour a one-bedroom unit. She took us on a complete tour, explained everything, and invited us to stay for lunch, which was very good. It was like eating in a restaurant. The only thing that was self-service was the salad bar, so we were quite impressed with that. The whole layout of the grounds…

She took us on a complete tour, explained everything, and invited us to stay for lunch, which was very good. It was like eating in a restaurant. The only thing that was self-service was the salad bar, so we were quite impressed with that. The whole layout of the grounds sits on a former dairy farm, so it's very tranquil and peaceful. They have a lot of outside benches and firepits and things where you could just go outside and sit. It seems like there are a lot of activities going on, and we were very impressed with that, too. However, it's on the upper part of the expense. But you get what you pay for. And the staff members were very courteous and informative. My husband has Parkinson's, and so another thing that we were impressed with at the Redstone was that they have classes and exercises going on all the time for those patients. In our situation, that's a big requirement that we would have that added care for him.

My grandma has Dementia so she receives hospice care at home from Redstone. We couldn’t be happier with how they treat not only my grandmother, but us as well. They realize her disease (Dementia) hard on us caregivers too

I like that once I will be in Redstone Highlands North Huntingdon, I don't have to move again, because you can step up to additional care if needed. They had very little turnover in staff and it has been very well maintained and very clean with nice amenities and location. You get some housekeeping every other week. There is laundry service in your apartment, or if you choose not to do that, there's a facility on each floor. There is a garage if you choose that extra. The apartment is nice, because it's a little less than two bedrooms, but it's more than one bedroom. It's a bedroom den with a…

We toured Redstone Highlands and I really liked it. It was a good facility. My son toured it with me and he felt that it was too 'institutional' for our loved one, so that swayed me to keep looking. Also, they had a wait list.

I did a tour of Redstone Highlands Senior Living Communities. It's beautiful, but it's too expensive for the skilled care unit or memory unit. The food is fabulous. You can take your meals down there or not. The apartments were spacious. You can pay more for a balcony and have a beautiful view on a hill. They had a little chapel that was pretty, and they don't have any pools. The staff was lovely. They even have birthday cakes for everybody's birthday, every month. They're hospitable, friendly, and caring. It's gorgeous and well landscaped. The buildings are pretty, and there's a lot of parking. They have clubs and things, but I don't really know about the amenities. I was more interested in the food and how it looks. The cost, of course, was paramount. The food was delicious. It was wonderful. The dining room was lovely. I was so surprised; it was elegant. It's a five out of five. The waitresses are five out of five. It's a top-notch place. The memory unit is like $9,000 a month, which is a lot. I think you can rent an independent living for like $2,300 a month, if you want a balcony. The other unit for assisted living where you need nursing staff, maybe is $7,800. It's pricey.

I’ve lived here for over four years now and wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. Love the residents and the staff is top-notch. You won’t find any more caring people then those working here in North Huntingdon. I am blessed!

Redstone makes retirement easy and carefree. The staff are very personable and friendly. Feels like home.

I love it, great staff, very clean, beautiful campus
