Providence Place Senior Living of Dover was the best decision that myself and my father could have made for his assisted living situation. We visited other facilities but kept coming back to Providence Place as the community for him. The move-in was seamless and easy. Every staff member made him feel welcome and at home. Even the other residents showed their care in his living situation. As the months went by, it gave myself and the family such great peace of mind that he was safe, had routine care, medication administration that was just too much for him to handle anymore, a clean community,…

Special shout out to Kristina Lewis and Andrew Watkins as they were instrumental in helping me navigate everything so my father could just enjoy living again. I've often said... "I would live here, too!" Thanks again for a great stay while he was a resident. We will always remember how well he was cared for. I'd give 100 stars if I could.
I live here with my dog and cat. The staff and management are very kind and caring . I'm glad to be here in this nice facility and location.
My mom spent the last few months of her life at Providence Place and I know she was treated like a princess. The facility itself is beautiful and clean. The staff was simply amazing - they were kind, compassionate, and joked with her. They treated her like a person with dignity and I know she grew to love them. I will never be able to thank them enough for the peace of mind they brought me and my family during a very difficult time.
My family is extremely pleased with the care and service we have received. We can not imagine having our loved ones anywhere else.
My mother has been at Providence Place-Dover for 6 weeks now and so far I have been very pleased with her experience. Paul Bruno went out of the way to expedite our move in and was extremely helpful in the admittance process. Always just a phone call or text away. The care givers and nursing/wellness staff have been kind and helpful. Mom loves the activities. She is especially grateful for the amount of spiritual activities on the calendar. Thank you Chaplain Sean. One of her favorite things about the dining is the dessert cart. What a great idea. The country rides are a great way for the residents to get out of the building. Lisa is always so kind and eager to assist as well. The Connections Club has been that extra help we needed as dementia continues to progress. Jenny and Theo do a great job. Just a very good experience so far.
My mother lives here and loves it! She had lived with us for several years and decided she wanted to be "on her own" again so we found this place. She is in independent living but she can get more services as she needs them. The staff directed us towards some VA benefits that she can receive if she needs that extra care. It will more than offset the additional cost. It really is a lovely facility and the staff is wonderful!
My mother entered Providence Place as a resident, 3 months ago. We had visited 5 different facilities in the area. As our family has a long history in Dover, this location provided my mom with an extra sense of belonging and comfort. We came to discover that there are many people here that she knows and has been friendly with, since high school. We have had excellent communication from the staff (especially nursing). Mom loves the food and enjoys the dessert cart that comes around at lunch and dinner. I have found all staff (nursing, admissions, housekeeping, reception, dining, etc) to be very friendly and kind. We attended the family holiday open house, just after mom was settled in and it was beautifully done. A fantastic keyboardist, family photos offered, great food, even some drinks! Another thing that I noticed that stands out in comparison to the other facilities, is that the lobby/reception/living area, is always well-populated. Everyone loves to say hello and the chairs by the cozy fireplace are typically filled. People are out and about and willing to interact. There are many activities offered, to keep residents engaged. I believe that we made a great decision in bringing mom to Providence Place and I believe that she is very happy here!
The staff and administration are a very caring group we moved my aunt in about a month ago and the staff has done a great job of helping her adjust to her new living arrangements and always willing to go above and beyond for each resident and their family.
