Moving to Phoebe Terrace was the best decision my husband and I made at this time in our lives. We thank God for leading us here, and Shirley McCormick (among many other residents) for being so welcoming the minute we sat down in the lobby for our initial interview. The entire administrative staff at that point was so professional, personal and helpful. We often think what our life would be like living in our house, just the two us, unable to no longer do the upkeep needed and with less and less socialization than we are used to. There is a sense of community, caring and support here among…

The entire administrative staff at that point was so professional, personal and helpful. We often think what our life would be like living in our house, just the two us, unable to no longer do the upkeep needed and with less and less socialization than we are used to. There is a sense of community, caring and support here among the residents and staff. A listening ear is always available whether it is a resident or staff member. This move has also relieved much concern and responsibility from our children in their role of caring for us. So for us, Phoebe Terrace and Ministries is a blessing. - Marilyn M [Phoebe Allentown] [IL]
When I first moved to the Phoebe Miller Building, I honestly hated it. Moving into assisted living was a huge culture shock, and it took me time to adjust to my new surroundings and way of life. Now, almost a year later, I can honestly say that I am grateful for the experience. The nursing staff and management have been incredibly supportive, caring, and helpful throughout my transition. Their patience, kindness, and dedication have made a difficult adjustment much easier. I truly appreciate everyone at Phoebe Miller Building who has taken the time to care for me, listen to me, and help me…

My first experience with Phoebe Allentown was when the team stepped in to assist my family with giving the best care possible to my eldest sister Hilda Nhgle. Years later I’ve been fortunate enough to move into Phoebe Miller and experience the love and joy created by the team here. Phoebe Miller is a Wonderful Place to Call Home I am truly grateful for the care and kindness we have received during our time here. From the moment I arrived, we have been treated with respect, compassion, and genuine kindness. I would especially like to recognize Maryanne, Michael, Laura, Rachel, and Louise who is always so kind, caring, and helpful. They consistently go above and beyond to make sure we all feel comfortable, supported, and valued. There warm personalities and willingness to help mean so much to me and my family. I would like to take a moment to recognize the wonderful staff at the Miller Building at Phoebe, especially Jonas, Michael, and Louise. They consistently show kindness, patience, and genuine compassion toward the residents. Their professionalism and willingness to help make a positive difference every day. It is clear that they truly care about the people they serve, and their dedication does not go unnoticed. Thank you, Jonas, Michael, and Louise, for all that you do to make the Miller Building a welcoming and caring place for the residents and their families
I have seen a vast improvement in my Mom since admitted to Phoebe; first in short-term rehab, then in skilled nursing. Very warm, professional and knowledgeable staff; nutritional and creative meals; a philosophy of improving health (not just maintaining the status quo); and lots of stimulating activities. I would highly recommend!!!
My loved one ENJOYED the food! Staff at Phoebe Allentown Short term Rehab are very caring. They are as busy as any other rehab facility but that doesn't hinder their personal care. Aides are kind, smile, use humor and show patience. Most are friendly and communicative with family, esp if you reach out to them and stay involved on your end. Therapists are knowledgeable, adaptable and keep patients engaged. The large gym is clean and appears well equipped. Lovely and large covered porch with outdoor seating overlooking well maintained courtyard space with paved paths. Great for taking a walk with your loved ones.
The staff is very kind
