Pennsylvania Soldiers' and Sailors' Home in Erie, Pennsylvania. This state-run veterans home offers personal and domiciliary care, skilled nursing and memory care across furnished private rooms on a landscaped 26-acre campus overlooking Lake Erie. Daily life includes meals planned by dietary staff, on-site pharmacy and 24-hour nursing, plus therapies (physical, occupational and speech) and social services to support residents' health and independence.
Residents have access to chapel services, a barber and beauty shop, library, canteen and an outdoor courtyard with a gazebo for events. Organized recreation, transportation for outings and medical appointments, campus security and volunteer programs supplement care. The property also contains a veterans memorial cemetery and frequent community visits from veteran organizations and service members.

I've never been here but want to see it for myself. This was once a marine hospital near the garand grounds on the bay. There is a lot of history in this soil/ soul.
Wonderful place. Always in need of donations. Support our heroes!

Great great excellent caring staff.. update on May3rd 2023 I couldn't breathe..the dedicated, professional staff(nurses and aides) quickly assested the problem and I was taken to UPMC hospital in Erie and saved saved my life.Cheri and Beth have assembled extremely professional and dedicated staff. Thanks.

There bus drive is highly dangerous and should not be allowed transport anyone at any time .. In a rolling right hand turn off of the Bayfront to 290 he brake checked a semi- truck that carries a dash camera. Mid 30s white male with very poor judgment
The staff there are rude.
