EVER SINCE WILSON & MARIA TOOK OVER, THEY'VE MADE SIGNIFIGANT IMPROVEMENTS, & UPGRADES. WILSON IS VERY "HANDS ON"& MARIA BRINGS SOPHISTICATION, & CHARM TO THE COMMUNITY! BOTH ARE VERY CHARISMATIC, & POPULAR AMONG THE RESIDENTS! MYAIRA, ONE OF THE STAFF, IS ALWAYS DOING NICE THINGS FOR THE RESIDENTS, ABOVE WHAT IS REQUIRED!!👍👍
I have been a resident of Paradise Manor for three months. It is truly PARADISE. The staff, from the owners to the handy man, are gentle, loving and respectful. My neighbors, despite their quirks, have all been delightful. I sincerely feel that we are FAMILY and best of all, I AM HOME! (Edit to add...special mention to our CHEF BOB, the food is delicious and nutritious. Just like Mom used to make.)
What I liked best about Paradise Manor was it wasn't crowded. I like that they have their own rooms and that they don't share with anyone else. The staff was very friendly. It's easy to get around in that facility. There's nothing that I saw that will cause any red flags for me as far as mom being in her wheelchair. There's plenty of room for her to go around. I spoke with the director there, and he was great. He was very upfront and honest and cares for his staff. A lot of his staff members have been working for him for over 15 years, so that says a lot about him. I only interacted with a…

A lot of his staff members have been working for him for over 15 years, so that says a lot about him. I only interacted with a few members of the staff, but the little that I did, they were really good. When I was walking in, there was staff cleaning the bathroom. Everything was clean. There were no strange smells or any obstacles in the way that could cause someone to trip. Everything was good. I liked it. The size of the rooms was pretty modest. I've seen three different rooms, and they're pretty good-sized and roomy. The rooms downstairs have their own bathrooms. Some of the rooms upstairs have to share a bathroom, and some have individual private bathrooms. There's a shared shower.
It's small clean and friendly but it s definitely not for those suffering things like dementia. The medical aspect is their weakest link.
Paradise Manor was nice. I loved that place. I think the administrator was wonderful and caring. The facility was very clean and very homey. It was very open. It had lots of room for the residents to move around. They had a computer area for the residents to use and a large TV room.
The Houskeeper there works very hard [name removed] the place looking and smelling nice she also knows all residents by name and goes above and beyond for them I toured a lot of facilities and if we choose this place it will be because of her
They hey call my mom Social Security pension and the pension she gets from my dad. They give her no money at all and won't let her take money out of her own bank account.
This place is very honest and caring. I was working with a family and sent them here. The family loves it and staff is wonderful.
