Overbrook Pointe Lutheran Senior Life

We recently moved into Overbrook Pointe on July 10, 2025. When we moved into our Apartment the HVAC didn’t work. The Shower was dripping. Now all this was fixed. We were told that they had Silver Sneakers. But it is next door at another building. So we signed up for Transportation. But Transportation cannot tell time. We were told that they were to leave at 10:00 A.M. When we show up the Transportation had left at 9:45 A.M. This is just one example of how this place is run. We were promised all kinds of things, But after living here for approximately Four months the truth is very different. Hallways are cold. Due to the fact that the HVAC is blowing cold air and it’s winter right now. I spoke with a representative from Maintenance yesterday. They are working on plan to correct the cold air problem. We are looking at finding a better place to live. This is my Fourth installment. The hallways are still cold on second and third floors. On the second floor the HVAC is blowing cold air. Maintenance did put some weather stripping around the double doors on the second and third floors. It’s sad because we were promised so many things, and they being the administration do nothing. This is my fifth installment, We are back to cold hallways. I personally can not believe this. Again we are looking for another place to live. Now Transportation has been taken away from us. With no explanation it’s just gone. This is my sixth installment. This place is ran like a Nursing Home. They get by with the minimal amount of employees. Doing the minimal amount of work. The Dining Room is barely clean. Now the Dining Room is a playground for Great Grandchildren.
