Mom in there for 83 days after broken ankle. They were unsuccessful with rehab. Some staff was very caring and attentive. Old facility room small, and TVs on at the same time with too much in one room. Food Highly salted and needs improvement.

The staff there is absolutely amazing. My mom was a resident there and I am so grateful to everybody in the building. It’s hard enough to leave your loved one somewhere but I knew she was in great hands. Everybody really is so caring and honestly when my mom passed I could see how much they loved mom too. Jojo and Dima always went out of their way when mom was having a bad day to try to make her smile.

I ran a large Long Term Care Pharmacy so understand nursing homes. I was DCd from LVHN to Mosser and had great Fear. The dedicated, kind and caring staff took care of me when I was vulnerable, hopeless and in great pain. They taught me to walk, sit, transfer my weight and poop on a toilet again. Initially scarry but they huided me.The food was quite tasty institutional food. Nursing / PT / OT / techs / CMAs / Dietary all helped one another and patients benefited. The only weak point was the Medical Director who did not control severe surgery pain well so I didn't sleep well. Thank you for…

Wonderful facility, everyone is welcoming and friendly, residents are happy. Knowledgeable and experienced staff. All of the departments work together to ensure good care. Home like atmosphere, clean and sufficient supplies are available.

My mom is presently in Mosser Nursing Home. There are several reasons why we chose this place. The hospital provided a list of places, and this was the closest to our home to see where she lives. It also had one of the higher recommendations. Moving in was great. They were very helpful there. I had a nice long sit-down with the administrator who explained all the processes. Their social worker was very good. She kept in contact with me over the last four or five days. Their contact with the clients was excellent. The facility itself was clean and well- organized. The staff were helpful. I only saw one meal, but it looked good. One of the staffers was helping my mother eat it. She was having a little trouble manipulating the forks and stuff like that. The food looked excellent. I didn't get a good chance to go over their activities. I talked more about physical therapy, but I saw that they had some activities posted on a bulletin board. They had a hairdresser on site, doctors were available, they had a special therapy room, and they had a separate shower room. The room where my mother was in was a nice size, with good closet space, and a TV for every bed. It's excellent for the facilities as well. Medicare is covering it right now, so I don't know their exact cost. Then when Medicare runs out in 20 days, I understand they would check my insurance and said that would pick up the co-pay. But based on the quality of care I saw, I would say it would have to be a good value.

We chose Mosser Nursing Home for mom because it's convenient for our family to get to. It's within ten miles of most of her family. We have had relatives in our family that have been there, so we felt comfortable and familiar with it. She is in skilled nursing care. The staff is very caring and very patient. It's just that the building is kind of dated and old. You can tell that they are shorthanded, but they are doing everything they can to make sure everybody gets the attention that they need. My mom is happy there. She is having more rehab right now. She's not able to get to the activities or anything yet. The layout is very convenient. It's all one floor. There's an outdoor courtyard. It's easy to get around in there.

Nice clean nursing facility. Friendly staff, the staff took wonderful care of my husband grandmother. I would highly recommend this facility. I am a former nursing home worker and worked in other health care such as hospitals ect. I can't find anything bad to say about the care here. They are often under staffed but that is nothing different from any other health care facility. I would not hesitate to have another family member here. My sister was also her for a few weeks for therapy, even she thought the therapy was amazing compared to other places she had been in the past. I would give 10 stars if that was possible.

My mother is in Mosser Nursing Home. It's clean. It does not smell like urine or poop. She has been there for three months now. Any emails I send, they respond right away or they call me. They're very good at getting back to me. And if I talk to my mother and something does not sound right, I check with the caseworker or the nurse, and then they get back to me to clarify it. So they're good that way. She said the food is good. They have activities, but with COVID, I don't think they are practicing like bingo and all that. They don't have any COVID cases now, but I think it's prevention. So what they do is they put a movie on for all the residents to watch in the room, and they also have live entertainment that they broadcast on the TV.
