Fees continue to rise while the quality of apartment cleaning, housekeeping, laundry, and food declines. Management has high staff turnover. The facility management and Morningside regional management are poor. Activities used to make the facility feel like a cruise ship, now they are spotty and poorly organized. What was a good lively facility when my parents first moved in a few years ago, has now declined to be a poor and expensive care facility under Morningside. Please…

Since Morningside purchased this facility the quality of service and the value for price have decreased significantly. Fees continue to rise while the quality of apartment cleaning, housekeeping, laundry, and food declines. Management has high staff turnover. The facility management and Morningside regional management are poor. Activities used to make the facility feel like a cruise ship, now they are spotty and poorly organized. What was a good lively facility when my parents first moved in a few years ago, has now declined to be a poor and expensive care facility under Morningside. Please see past the sales presentations and move your loved ones elsewhere.
Not impressed with food being cold and Maria that runs morningside didn’t want to talk to me last year when I tried to speak with her about this issue but rolled her eyes and couldn’t wait to get away from me. She is very unprofessional and I am not impressed with her at all. Staff taking care of resident is very good and caring.
Kelly is very thoughtful, and knowledgeable. I love referring families to Morningside as I am confident they will be treated with respect, dignity, and like family! Call Kelly for a tour soon!

I do not recommend the memory care unit within this facility for your senior. My parents were here for 3 months- mother resided in assisted living and father, memory care. No safety measures were put in place after my father had numerous unwitnessed falls, some resulting in injuries that we were never made aware of. Poor communication, poor daily care, and poor medical follow up. Morningside staff and senior administration disregarded my mother who advocated tirelessly for my father’s needs. She brought concerns of his failing health to the attention of staff and supervisors only to be ignored and told my father was combative. Instead of relaxing in their rooms, the memory care seniors sit in their wheelchairs and wet diapers in the common area all day while staff are on their phones. I do believe the aides are well intended, but lack structure, protocols, guidance and leadership

The people are great, the rooms are clean, the staff are cheerful and helpful and I can't find anything much to complain about. I do not regret joining the community.
My mom moved in a week ago and the staff is outstanding. They go above and beyond to make her feel at home.
This team is THE BEST! Warm, fun and knowledgeable, such a wonderful group of people!! Thanks for all you do to enrich the lives of your residents every single day - you are the best senior living community in the area hands down.
