The staff is excellent from the time you walk in. My mom is well taken care of. Karen manages well. It shows. I only didn't give 5 stars because its a sad place. Keep up the good work.

Their encouragement, and dedication helped her make meaningful progress. It was clear that they genuinely cared about her recovery and celebrated every step forward with her. We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the Administrator for his leadership and commitment to creating a caring environment. His dedication is reflected in the outstanding team he have built and the quality of care our family experienced.Finally-Thank you to everyone at Mon Valley Care Center for the excellent care and compassion you showed our family. We sincerely appreciate everything you did and would gladly recommend the facility to anyone looking for quality rehabilitation and nursing care!!

Was told the place is so cheap that they rewash their water cup lids which are plastic and not meant to be reused. That is cross contamination and that is disgusting. I would not have my mother stay there and get sick from them. They should be ashamed.

My sister in law was placed her for physical therapy after a fall and she could not have received better care. We as a family were very happy

This nursing home provides outstanding care in a clean, supportive environment. The team is knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely committed to residents’ comfort and dignity. Highly recommend

The Highlights of Mon Valley Healthcare is the activity Department. Ms. Jen and her Team are wonderful and creative with the residents! The Environmental, Maintenance, and Cafeteria Staffs are all so polite with residents!! You can tell how well the residents know the staff! Nurses and Aides, Therapy deserve recognition too!! Thank you for all you do!

Essentially kicked my elderly widowed father out a few hours before the recent snow storm without his prosthetic leg. They refused to give him his prosthetic for four days stating “they couldn’t find it” He missed multiple appointments to specialized amputation therapy while there too. I have filed a complaint with the Pa Department of Health and consulted with my attorney. Administration there have yet to return my phone calls. PS I called today and not a single person from admin returned my call. I’ve been calling since Saturday.

So far I am not impressed. My mom had to call to go to the bathroom and it took 20 min. She had a hip replacement a week ago and wasn't medicated all day. She had one dose in the morning and that is all. She was complaining about the pain the entire time. I told them as I was leaving that she needed pain pill. Besides the whole pain issue she has really liked her experience. Shhe did say everyone there had been very nice to her.
