My mother was here last year (2025). I asked them not to put her in the common dining area. When I was there, they kept her in her room. The minute that I wasn't there, they put her in the common room. Then, she got covid. They kicked her out three days later and I really mean that they kicked her out. She was sitting in a wheelchair in the snow outside when I picked her up. I don't know how long she was out there, but she was shivering. Her nice clothes frequently came up "missing". The office didn't care about anything unless you were talking about money. Unfortunately, you have to choose…

Terrible care for the patients here. My elderly mother in law has fallen multiple times at this facility, while being charged over 500 a day for to be taken "care' of. They do not give proper supervision of dementia patients and if you bring your elderly realative here, the care is guaranteed to be low quality and will most likely put your loved ones life in danger. Avoid this place at all costs, it is very expensive and they give horrible care for the amount of money they steal. This place is all about profits...500 a day is 192k a year. We went to look at Manchester Commons. The rooms were very nice. The staff was very nice. The facility was nice, open, and friendly. They had a lot of things to do. The dining room was pretty. It seemed like a very laid-back, comfortable place. The only thing we didn't like was that they didn't have a lot of outside activities due to what they called COVID restrictions. The staff was warm, friendly, very kind, and open. They had the best room there. They had a little alcove for the bed, and we really liked that. It's more roomy. The atmosphere felt welcoming. They had a big, open dining room. It was like a restaurant.

Rooms floors not clean. The bathroom had wet towels on the counter from this a.m. Dusty doors. Room air stale, windows were open for a breeze. Staff checking my uncle for covid, well clean the rooms and use extra care to keep them safe, start with disinfection. My uncles room is E10. I would not recommend this place till you bring it up to safe standards. Please take this seriously. Equipment is very poor and does not work good at all. People are there to get well, not exposed to dirty rooms and covid threats.

On May 26, 2023 my Daughter who is a CRNA, Health Professional and myself a retired State Drug Enforcement Agent met with Megan J, an Addmissions Coordinator at Manchester Commons. We were inquiring about memory care for my wife. We first noticed the clean and fresh atmosphere of the facility. Megan was thorough in her presentation to us, very personal and pleasant. We were shown the resident rooms, activity and dining areas. We were very impressed with everyone and everything at the facility. Our work background told us this was an excellant facility to care for our wife/ mother. I can not express enough how pleasant our feelings were upon reviewing everything at this facility. Thank You

Manchester Commons was very nice. The assisted living units were fairly large for being just a regular studio. It's a large room, very clean, very nice, and bright. They have a beauty salon, a courtyard, and they have activities. They were playing bingo in the dining room. They actually have little curio cabinets outside of each room within them for the memory care. The facility originally was an elementary school, but if you walk, there's no sign of the elementary school, and they built on in every direction. So, it was very nice and very pretty. The grounds are pretty and welcoming. When we were touring the building, all of the staff said hi to us, and the some of them even introduced themselves. It was very pleasant. Everything was taken care of so well that it looks brand new.

My mom moved in at Manchester Commons about a couple of weeks now. They are very welcoming. It's a beautiful facility, very clean and well-kept, and all the people seem very nice and helpful. Her room is beautiful. It's like a studio apartment-type room. I know they have a calendar of activities. They do crafts and music. I sat with my mother while she ate her lunch and it looked good to me. The dining hall is an open area. The whole memory care unit is an open area except for the rooms. The dining area and activity area are all open areas. I'm not familiar with all the prices everywhere, but it seems to be a decent value.
