my mother was recently admitted for rehab and we were very pleased and happy with the care, rehab and the staff. she is now home and thriving.
I would give this place 0 star, it is totally disgusting. Staff is friendly but that filth will cause a serious infection. Mrsa, staph, aides wearing same gloves going in and out every room. The stench of urine is so bad you can't get it out of your nose. The pictures of this place is fake. Doesn't look like that. It is very scary. Dirty isn't the word
I have had many positive encounters with Majestic Oaks. My interactions with the staff are great! The staff is attentive and the residents are happy. Majestic Oaks is a hidden gem!
I recently coordinated the admission of my cousin into Majestic Oaks and the professionalism of the staff that I had the pleasure to work with was magnificent. My cousin has both of his legs amputated and is recently dealt with substance abuse issues. My cousin and I are very pleased with the care he is receiving at this facility. Ms. Lydia Rogers, Admissions Direct is a wonderful professional and a pleasure to work with. Thanks Lydia all your efforts.
Wonderful staff. I've had relatives at other more modern facilities, but the patient to staff ratio was poor. I was very impressed with the knowledge and compassion of the staff at Majestic Oaks. They were patient and very helpful to my family member who was a recent patient there. They were so attentive and caring. There was always someone to speak with on the days I wasn't able to visit. To me staff to patient ratio is one of the most important aspects of a facility like this.
With uncertainty I gave this rehab a chance due to location and I was not disappointed. My grandmother recieved great care. Rehab unit was updated clean therapy was terrific!
If I could give 0 stars, that still wouldn’t be low enough. If you listen to any of the reviews, please let it be this one. Do NOT trust this facility to look after your loved ones, especially if they need 24/7 care. I would never want another family to go through what mine just did. As someone who read the reviews prior to agreeing to move a loved one here, listen when I say - please take your loved ones somewhere safer.
My sister stayed here for 3 months on the 4th floor after suffering brain damage. Patients on the 4th floor often have serious psychiatric conditions, and it can be a little overwhelming to see your loved one there in this situation. Initially I was very concerned that she would be neglected, subdued through medication and restricted to her bed etc. What a relief to find out I was completely mistaken. Every single person that works here, and I think I've met almost all of them, has been kind, caring and compassionate. I can't emphasize enough how moved I was by their care and compassion for my sister. The whole system is also wonderfully managed with great communication from intake to discharge and includes options for physical therapy (excellent!), games/activities, and the ability to go outside to the garden with family etc. Visitation hours are also very accommodating (8-8 every day). Everyone there deserves a shout-out, but special thanks to Rita who does a fantastic job running the facility, Colleen (nurse/coder extraordinaire), Rob in physical therapy, Chris in activities and Patty who seems to do everything! My heartfelt appreciation for your hard work and caring!
