Not bad, but not good either! My sister has been there for a number of years now, don’t know staffs workload. My sister is bed ridden 24/7 365, often lays with soiled diapers, some of which is her fault. Room needs repairs, missing window blind since about May of this year, plaster on walls is crumbling, elevator has been out of service for MONTHS, only service elevator available! Now! Her personal IPhone became missing, never to be seen again, did I mention that she is BEDRIDDEN 24/7, 365! We wonder whatever could have happened to her phone?? When we ran a find my phone search, it pined at a…

When we ran a find my phone search, it pined at a Dunkin Dounuts shop on Columbia Ave. at 8 A.M.. STAFF reported it to Lancaster Township Police, however, no further update dates given. This happened about one month ago!
My grandfather was admitted to Hamilton Arms Center for short-term rehabilitation after being discharged from the hospital, and our family’s experience was extremely disappointing. The first night alone raised several serious concerns. My grandfather was not given his CPAP machine overnight despite having sleep apnea. He also did not receive his regular home medications. By the following morning, his mental status had noticeably deteriorated compared to when he arrived. When I visited at approximately 10:30 a.m., he was still not dressed. He was lying partially out of bed wearing only a diaper, complaining of significant back and buttock pain because he had not been repositioned or helped to move. For someone who is elderly, has dementia, and is a high fall risk, this level of care is unacceptable. The nursing staff was also concerning. The head nurse (initials Z.R., red curly hair) was passive-aggressive and rude during our interactions. Rather than explaining the admission paperwork or answering questions, she simply told me I had filled things out incorrectly without offering any helpful guidance and proceeded to argue with me that I was wrong. My grandfather also used his call bell to ask for assistance getting to the bathroom, and it took approximately 15–20 minutes for someone to respond. Given that he is a documented fall risk with dementia and multiple medical conditions, delays like this could have resulted in a serious injury. Our family trusted Hamilton Arms Center to provide safe, compassionate rehabilitation care. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we left with significant concerns about the quality of care, communication, and attention given to vulnerable patients. I hope management takes these concerns seriously so that other families do not have a similar experience. We will be contacting the PA Department of Health and the Office of Aging.
I was there for two months in rehab. I was treated with the utmost dignity and respect. Everybody treated me like family. I will spend the rest of my life there, when it gets to that time. I want to thank the entire staff and management for not only saving my life but teaching me to walk again. And the food was great. The medical attention was fantastic. I don't have any complaints. I give them an A+
I wouldn’t ever put anyone you loved here. The whole place was disgusting and poorly ran.
My dear friend is now under Hospice care at Hamilton Arms. The Hospice nurses and volunteers have been so attentive, kind, and responsive to all our questions and concerns. Others on staff at Hamilton Arms have also helped to make this difficult time as peaceful as possible.
Everyone was very friendly
I think it’s a comfy little place. The staff is very nice. The residence are taken care of and it puts my mind at ease knowing they’re taking good care of my mother although she’s only in there for therapy great little place.
Wonderful staff!
