My Mom moved in a week ago. She wasn't able to stay alone any longer. It was a very difficult decision. Fortunately, she is doing better in Hallsworth than she was at home. She has more energy, sleeping a little better, and socializing with people her own age. We haven't seen her doing this good for a year or so. All the staff members are wonderful caring people. It's a safe and healthy atmosphere for seniors. We highly recommend this facility.
Recently my 99 year old aunt was admitted to hospital for low blood pressure. The hospital found that she had dirty compression hose on of which there were maggots under hose against her skin. I live out of state and my aunt has an elderly nephew that looks in on her. I called the Hallsworth House and asked what could have happened that my aunt would be ill kept with maggots under her compression hose. They asked me what do you want them to do about it. I said find out who is in charge of keeping her clean and get to the bottom of us. I told them my aunt would not be returning to the…

My mother was a resident for almost 3 years. I felt that she enjoyed it. Clean, most of the staff were great.
Great place for a loved one, the nurses are very attentive and caring!
Very nice personal care home. This personal care home is the nicest around. If you want your loved one taken care of place them in this facility. I had a family member at a previous personal care home located in Fayette City and it was no where near as nice as this personal care home. The residents do activities daily, eat great meals, and the girls are very nice.
I was a home care nurse in this facility, it is clean and full of activities. The care is amazing.
My mom was at Hallsworth House almost a year and the director and administrator were wonderful. All of the girls that worked their treated my mom as though she was their mother or grandmother. I couldn't recommend a better place.
