My mother Shirley Lawrence lives there. They are wonderful. A shout out to the nurses on D103 for their great service to my mother and I
Staff treats residents like family
I’ve visited relations but I’m not a member
My dear 94 year old mother has been cared for here for two years, The other have been a lot of changes, especially through Covid and shortages of assistance all in all it has been a very good experience. The place is centrally located as quiet and peaceful and respects the independence of each resident. A big plus for my mother has been daily mass, said by the most beautiful Monsignor, who had been at Saint Catherine of Siena for many years. Despite wishing that we could care for my mother, everyone in the family seems generally pleased with Garvey Manor.
My mother spent the last year of her life there. The facility was extremely clean and well maintained, so much so you could tell walking thru the door the staff take pride in their jobs. What impressed me the most was the staff. From the greeter in the main lobby area, to the maintenance crew, everyone was polite, professional and took excellent care of my mother. Words cannot express how appreciative I am of all of them. Thank you for everything you did for my mother.
