Facility has had issues with heat/air conditioning (for months), and it may or may not all be resolved. They also often have issues with water, either they have none or as it has been for weeks now, they have no hot water in the showers. Residents have been given "baths" using the sink (as of January 2025). If my loved one did not want to move at their advanced age + the familiarity of the facility, we would have relocated them to a different another facility.
Rude..rough..understaffed..no compassion and treats staff and residents awful.. and wonder why they can't keep staff..
I went to Fritzingertown Senior Living Community. The biggest issue with Fritzingertown is you have to move out of your place when you need more care. So, it will be on a different floor. So, I wasn't too excited about having to move her things should she need more care. They had bingo and some activities. They had a bus that went and did things. Their menu was okay. Their rooms didn't have showers in them. They had some that were just a sink and a toilet. So, that's okay, but as they get older, they like their privacy. My son and I were scheduled to do a music program for this community. We called one week before to confirm and we we were told it was not happening. We are out of state and must stay at hotel as well as gas and food. This was disrespectful to us as artist and ministry. Let us hope that other entertainers and employees are not treated this badly. We will not be booking this community again.
Supper awesome facility! Very hard workers who have the most love for their residents, it’s also very clean and well organized there!
Fritzingertown is such a beautiful and homely community with lots of charm 😊. You truly feel at home here and the staff clearly put the needs of the residents first. What an amazing team. Definitely would recommend this community!
