My father was at Franciscan Manor for almost a year (late April 2025 - mid April 2026), until we moved him closer to home. Franciscan Manor is a lovely setting and probably great for assisted living residents who are mobile and can advocate for themselves. Once my father was wheelchair bound and then bed bound due to strokes, it was a totally different story. It took a long time for anyone to answer his call button, he was not given enough water during the day to stay hydrated, and he was left sitting in a chair or on the bed for hours with no one checking in to see if he needed anything.…
It took a long time for anyone to answer his call button, he was not given enough water during the day to stay hydrated, and he was left sitting in a chair or on the bed for hours with no one checking in to see if he needed anything. After he was put on hospice, he was mostly ignored by the regular staff and was not repositioned enough to prevent horrible bedsores and a deep tissue wound, of which the family was unaware. We were told he had two minor sores that were being treated. I was deeply saddened at the poor treatment I witnessed during Dad's last weeks at Franciscan Manor. I would never put a loved one in that facility if they had mobility issues or needed help transferring from the bed to a chair.
My mother was staying at Franciscan Manor for about 5 years and just recently passed away. I want to compliment the entire staff and care staff especially, for the attention and care she received during her last days. When our family visited her during entire her stay, the facility was always clean and well maintained.
Best place in Beaver County. My dad was at this facility for years and they do a great job of taking care of the people in their care. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a high level of care at a reasonable price.
My mother loves it at Fransiscan Manor. The residents are well cared for and the food is great. The place is beautiful, clean, and well kept. The caring staff are there to help with anything she needs.
I use to visit my neighbors while the were residents for a few months and enjoyed my visits and the friendly staff. When it came time to find a place for my Mom, this was my first choice.
Staff are nice, clean, good therapy program, activities, food is good, the only con, is when they are short staffed, had to wait 1 hour for the call light to be answered
Fantastic place for your loved ones. Great facility, great and loving staff. Could have not found a better place for my mom.
Great facility. Food is excellent. Staff is very friendly. They always have some kind of activities for them to do. Room sizes are very nice and accommodating.
