Is my mom second day here and the only think I don’t like is that we press that bottom they take so long to check what is going on i even need to go and look for them so i imagine when shes by herself
I have not been to this facility, however, a friend of mine is currently in rehabilitation here every time I call, a different person answers the phone, however every single person that answers the phone is rude, unwilling to help connect me with my friend and every single person that has answered has had a terrible tone and a bad attitude in general. Come on Fairview Manor, your staff needs to find "their manners."
If I could give zero stars I would. My grandma was being transported there for hospice. They didn’t have a single thing ready for her. She died within 2 hours of being there. The hospital stated she should’ve definitely had a few days left. Mind you she was supposed to be on morphine every hour and in those two hours never received any. Not a single nurse came in the room as my grandma was screaming in pain. The head nurse, or whatever she was, literally has only been there for three weeks and had no clue on the systems there. I would highly recommend taking your loved ones elsewhere.
SOME OF THE ROOMS DONT GET A PROPER CLEANING TRACY A HOUSEKEEPER THERE DONT CLEAN LIKE SHE IS SUPPOSE TO ROOM LOOKS FIFTHY.
DO NOT BRING YOUR FAMILY MEMBER HERE. THEY HAVE TWO NURSES TO ONLY LOOK AFTER 50 SOME PEOPLE AND MY GRANDMA WAS BROUGHT HERE THEY DID NOT TREAT HER LEG WOUNDS AND SHE LATER PASSED IN THE HOSPITAL. PLEASE TAKE THIS AS A WARNING BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT TREAT YOUR FAMILY WITH RESPECT
The therapy dept is very nice and there are plenty of sitting areas to visit with family. They seem to be working towards overall improvement of the facility and staff, which takes time. It's pretty spacious as well! They took great care with my mother in law before she passed.
They do a good job of keeping it clean. Food is always good and staff are pleasant and helpful.
Incase you missed my last comment do not I repeat do not send your family member here unless you want them to be ignored and eventually meet their end. This place is as close to as what you'd think a horrible "rehab" place or rest home would be. They will make excuses they will do nothing and your family will pay the worst cost. DO NOT SEND YOUR FAMILY HERE!!!!! Take this from a person who paid the ultimate price and lost his mom do to their neglect and complete lack of care.
