3.6 · 31 reviewsOur Aunt has been at Evan’s for over a year now. Evan’s is a smaller, more personal facility. They have no more than 24 residents. My Aunt really likes that. She was in a nursing home before where it was huge with people sitting in the hallways. The feeling of home & coziness weren’t there. Ruby, Randall, Jennifer, Mrs. Evans are all wonderful souls who truly care about my Aunt. I would highly recommend Evans for a loved one.
Shut down by the state. Not surprised. The son ran it into the ground. My dad lived there for over 5 years. It was fine at first, then went downhill. The Ombudsman was zero assistance. My dad practically ran out of there when he left in November. Ruby was a sweetheart and did a great job. I feel bad for her.
Evans Retirement Center is a cozy, locally owned, assisted living facility that makes residents feel at home. Much more personalized and unique attention is payed towards resident than other larger corporatized places. Definitely recommend Evans!

I had to make a very hard decision on the care of my father. After doing my homework I decided to place my dad under the care and watchful eyes of Evans. They did an excellent job with the care and attention that my dad needed. I would recommend checking them out for the care of your loved ones.
My grandfather had the absolute best care here. He had around the clock, personalized care to meet his needs. It was a night and day difference from the other nursing home the hospital sent my grandmother to, where she was neglected and treated as a bed number. I couldn’t recommend Evans more! I would trust them with any member of my family. Thanks for providing such good care!
If a lower star could be given it would be after a recent made to my grandfather who has moved in to Evans [date removed] the place is disgusting. The facility is in disarray bugs galore and filth. We will be contacting the state for the issues and hope to see this facility corrected or shut down. If you have loved ones here check on them and think twice about this facility.

My grandmother lives at Evans Retirement Center, and I can honestly say it is the best decision my siblings and I have ever made. The staff takes such good care of her. I cannot be there 24/7, but I’m comfortable that she is in good hands, even when we are not there with her.
