Amazingly Wonderful ⭐
I can't say enough about the staff. They are competent, caring and clean. The facility and resident suites are always clean and tidy. The facility is very well laid out and easy to navigate.
My grandma was a resident at Easy Living for several years due to her dementia. They took such good care of her and treated her with kindness and dignity. I can’t say enough good things about Easy Living.
I recently had the opportunity to tour Easy Living Country Estates in New Stanton during the past month with my mother, and I must express my concerns based on my observations. Throughout the entirety of the tour, I regrettably did not encounter any staff members, and it became apparent that the staff-to-patient ratio was significantly disproportionate. It was perplexing to witness a facility with such a large capacity for individuals yet experience a noticeable absence of visible staff, especially when there were instances of patients vocalizing their needs from their respective rooms. My primary concern lies in the discrepancy between the outward appearance of Easy Living Country Estates, which suggests a well-maintained personal care home, and the internal reality, reminiscent of a skilled facility with an apparent lack of staffing presence. The tour, unfortunately, left me with reservations about the level of care and attention that residents receive. Furthermore, during the tour, I perceived a lack of genuine concern from the individual guiding us. It was evident that she was merely presenting a facade, as she did not exhibit a sincere understanding of the residents, some of whom she did not even know by name. This, in turn, raises questions about the commitment and empathy of the staff towards the well-being of the residents. In sharing these observations, my intention is to provide constructive feedback and to alert others who may be contemplating Easy Living as a potential residence for their loved ones. It is my belief that transparency and open communication are crucial in fostering a positive and trustworthy relationship between prospective residents and their families and this place does not provide those things.
Easy Living was a great place for Dad and our family. Thank you to all the staff for what they do everyday!
Our mom is always clean, warm and dry at EZ living . The aides and staff are all exceptionally caring and her..Our mom loves the Salon hairdresser weekly who is careful with her fragility and also adds personal music request songs to her playlist for each resident Housekeeping staff keep the rooms very clean and post Covid meals are plentiful and getting BETTER except for a few selections that no octogenarian will enjoy. The entertainment has been very engaging and the rooms by comparison are allowed to be filled with familiar belongings. . My recommendations for improvement are very simple 1: update the front doors for wheelchair accessibility .2: Please hire more aides.. Have a “ huddle” each shift to share care giving advice or entertainment INFO that day. Place entertainment signs at WHEELCHAIR eye level . 3: INSTITUTE a pet therapy room or program weekly. 4: Never run out of quarters at BINGO. Attendance would be consistently HIGHER. And lastly , a wipe off bulletin board in every room with TODAYS DATE . And NAMETAGS ON EVERY AIDE would make for better communication overall .
Rooms are clean staff is great , elevators are inspected per Pa statute code and meals are good coming out of world pandemic and are getting better despite a few selections that no octogenarian would enjoy . After2 years here we see 3 areas needing improvement . 1:update the front door for handicap accessible wheelchairs . 2: hire more staff 3:HIRE a crative cognitive arts director who will stimulate these minds . Activity attendance May increase . Thats a win-win for all .
Easy Living Country Estates (ELCE) was home to both my Father and Aunt during the last years of their lives. They were able to enhance their room decors with the precious personal belongings that reminded them every day of their life and beloved families. The rural outdoor environment allowed them the scenic pleasures of spring, fall foliage and winter landscapes. Dad watched the rabbits and geese playfully wandering about the property just like at his lifetime- family home. Both my Dad and my aunt received full-support personal care & services, as well as hospice home health services at ELCE delivered by an empathetic and caring ELCE staff and hospice agencies. The menus, social activities and outdoor jaunts provided enjoyment and variety to their daily routines. ELCE was a blessing to each loving member of our extensive family. ELCE can be the answer to providing the care and support (you and) your loved one needs to manage and enjoy the balance of their golden years.
