Housing is provided in rented apartments of various sizes — studios, alcoves, one-bedrooms and semi-private options — on a month-to-month basis with no large upfront buy-in. The community can house couples with differing care needs and offers shared Friendship Suites.
Daily life includes on-site amenities such as newly added walking trails, a dog park and a bocce court, plus restaurant-style dining, scheduled transportation and housekeeping. A fitness center overseen by a fitness professional and a Dynamic Living activities program support social and wellness goals. The campus is located near Hershey Medical Center and provides access to short-term restorative and rehabilitation services.

We are Blessed to have Country Meadows of Hershey to provide assistance and care for my Nonagenenarian father. The level of care, attention, services and amenities are insurpassable. The location is very convenient. The staff and management are extraordinary - professional, conscientious, proactive, responsible, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, and encouraging. Energy levels are amazingly high. Attitudes are consistently positive and cheerful. Communication is excellent. Caregivers and Management are very invested personally. Everyone knows residents names, personalities, hobbies and interests (as well as those of family members and other regular visitors) specific care needs, and health issues. My father is receiving the best possible care with love and respect.
I can’t say enough for the staff at Country Meadows in Hershey. My mom entered their restorative care Pathways program after a five week hospital stay. With their continuous support and physical therapy, she was back to herself in a very short time. She loves being a resident there. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. It is so comforting knowing that my mom is in such good hands. If I could give them more than five stars, I certainly would.

Country Meadows in Hershey is a remarkable place. At 94 our very independent Dad was no longer able to live alone. Our initial visit quickly showed us that Country Meadows is a place where residents thrive. The staff worked tirelessly and with genuine interest to help us navigate through Dad's hospital and rehabilitation stays to his arrival at Country Meadows for their Pathways program. It was such a comfort to him and our family to know that his new home was going to be a safe, caring and positive place. I do not hesitate to recommend Country Meadows in Hershey.
Top Notch facility. They have caring staff that go above and beyond for the care of the people that live there. I can't say enough good about the care and facility. They really care about the people that live there and their quality of life.
I can't think of anything this place is lacking when it comes to a retirement home or nursing care. Very well equipped to handle just about everything I would think.
The staff here are sweet, considerate and well informed. My M-I-L has been living in the memory unit for over a year and the staff care for her deeply. The staff were very attentive to the needs of my M-I-L when she moved in. I appreciate knowing that they are making a connection with her each and every day.
