Although assisted living was not the right fit for my family member, [name removed] was extremely helpful during this difficult time and made some excellent recommendations for us. Her generosity is much appreciated.
I'm moving into Country Meadows of Bethlehem. It was very clean. The people were very nice and the price was right. The staff were very friendly, very supportive, and very nice. The building was very good. It's very clean and very sturdy. The atmosphere was very friendly. The people were very nice and friendly. It was a nice atmosphere. The tables were all set up maybe a couple of feet apart in the dining area. There are maybe 20 tables. I'm going to have a studio apartment there with a room and a bathroom. It's a very good size.
I'm moving my mother into Country Meadows of Bethlehem. They were very helpful and very friendly. It was a secure memory care. That was an important part because not all memory care units were secured. I liked everything about them, and the people were very caring. They did send home some turkey noodle soup, some lobster bisque, bread, and freshly baked brownies, and that was very good. The place had been there about 30 years, so newer facilities might have a slightly bigger restroom for the residents in their room, but this one was certainly adequate and maybe it would stay warmer for my…

My mom has been living at Country Meadows, in the Pathways Unit, for over a year and a half. She has a lovely apartment with many of her own items from home, creating a warm, comfortable and familiar environment. She has very kind caretakers who enjoy caring for her and making sure she feels safe and comfortable. I feel confident and pleased that her needs are being met.
My mother recently passed, [date removed], while at Resident of Personal Care. She began her journey in the Country Meadow's community [dare removed] in building 1, Independent Living. From day one until her death, Country Meadows was truly her home. The staff is amazing and goes above and beyond to make each resident feel special and takes the time to listen to their concerns. The activities kept her busy and the friends she made turned into family during COVID-19. Transitioning to personal care in [date removed], the staff anticipated her fears and concerns and went out of their way to assure her comfort and all needs were met. They truly cared about our mom which was obvious as they way they talked with her and made her feel special. The staff took care of us during the few days leading up to her death. The support and love we felt from this community will be remembered and cherished. As there is limited space for me to continue my review, just know I highly recommend CM Bethlehem
The only thing that is a “certain” is you will receive a monthly bill. Return phone calls from Facility Managers, Director of Nursing, Floor Nurses and even Maintenance never happen. Substandard care and shabby rooms in Building #4. Staff is contracted out and no one ever knows what’s going on, not even when the hair salon is open! The difference between Country Meadows and a state run facility is, Country Meadows has better food. The prices they give you are less the what your charged. The need to be investigated!
I went to Country Meadows of Bethlehem. They offer a wide range of services from independent to assisted, personal care, and memory care. We were impressed with the range of services they offer. Some areas were not as clean as they could be. They're not at all dirty, just marginal in a few areas. What we did not like is the residents seemed almost housed for lack of a better term. Most were in their rooms, doors closed, very few out and about, and those that were kind of just sitting almost like zombies, just kind of staring out into space. No real interaction among residents themselves or staff and residents. We were disappointed with that. It was a snapshot in time. Who knows what goes on the rest of the time, but that kind of turned us off. We went to quite a few different buildings and different things. The studio was a decent size. It was a single room with a fairly large bathroom and a walk-in shower and grab rails all around. The room itself was not huge, but enough for a bed, a chair, a dresser, a small table, and a TV. I was just disappointed in the lack of interactions with people. The staff who gave us the tour was phenomenal. She gave us a ton of information. She gave us a lot of other things to think about. She explained the different levels of care they had very well. She's very upfront about the cost involved.
It is impossible to get any info by phone from this place. The nurse's station doesn't answer and doesn't return voicemail. My mother was there for re-hab, and the staff from her senior-living home could not reach anyone at Country Meadows to get updates or info about getting her out. The residents in the rehab building seem totally alone and lonely. No evidence that they have any activities to participate in, and there is no one available by phone to let us know what is really going on there.
