Currently keeping my friend a financial hostage, demanding his 25+acre property to release him after 16 months due to a knee injury that was healed last year. Beware, money over morals, profit over people here. Will have Harrisburg involved, since I live there and know representatives.

The Corry manor is by far the worst facility I’ve ever experienced anything like this at. They choose their favorite residents and don’t include certain ones in their activities, the cleanliness is disgusting. My grandmother was there and they didn’t take care of her well at all. They didn’t know what to do when her sugar dropped dramatically and I had to go in and tell them what to do and what she needed. And they only ever share their favorite residents obituaries I would never recommend putting your loved ones here.

So let me explain my brother just had surgery on Monday. I'm a little concerned. His phone has been washed two times he has dementia. I was told that they're trying to remind my brother to plug his phone in.How is this possible when the person has dementia then, they have a resident phone that same person answers all the time. Which is a charge nurse? Then, they have to run the phone down to the person unless it's left in somebody's room. And it dies, so they forget about it. They have phones in the room, but they can't use Em. The only person that answers a phone down there is charge nurse…

The only person that answers a phone down there is charge nurse but anyways, it's getting a little old then to uh to multiple people about the phone situation it doesn't matter if it's a transportation or what it always goes to chargers. Then, you ask for the person you need to talk to. Then, they'll give you the transfer. You but most of the time, they don't call you back sometimes. 2 or 3 days later, I think it's a shame. My brother is getting a new phone. Thank you so much for the third time. Since he's been in this facility, I don't know how else to get a hold of him i've asked about him being transferred.I'm not getting any answers there.Other than well, let me check with the facility he wants to be transferred. So that's telling you a little bit. I love a few of the nurses. There are a few I could probably do without, but that's okay. And my dad was in the same facility. For 15 years. How can I do anything?I want to get a hold of my brother i'm over this

My Mom Is there. The times I have been there I noticed that the staff talk among there self. I think the patients are being neglected

How can a senior care home pick out important loved ones . Compare to other loved ones that have different insurance and don't get the best care? This is so wrong cause I have a loved one there and its seems like they don't care bout my loved one cause of his medical issues. Someone needs to look into this facility. I'm very upset that my loved one has to indulge in poor care.

Even though this facility is not “officially “ associated with Lecom Health, it was the only facility that the Corry hospital social workers recommended above and beyond any others. My grandmother died due to a pressure wound that was acquired during her stay in this filthy facility. No one would talk to my family even after multiple messages left for the Administrator, Director of Nursing, case managers, nurses, etc. NO ONE would listen to our concerns. The treatment was deplorable by all staff. The facility smells strongly of urine the minute the you enter the lobby. Residents were sitting in the hall neglected and moaning the entire time we visited. The nurses have such a nasty attitude. I called one evening for an update and was told to call back because her nurse was busy. I called back at 10 PM and the charge nurse took the phone to her nurse who said “I don’t care what she wants, I’m not talking to her”. I could hear her say it! Then she told the charge nurse that she hadn’t been in to see my grandmother yet. It was 7 HOURS into this nurses shift and no care had been provided. This is just 1 instance of many, many issues we had with this facility. This facility should be shut down. Please please do not allow your loved one to be shuttled off to this facility. There are so many more choices in the area. Do your research.

The lack of care, professionalism and dignity our family member encountered at this facility has really been impactful. I would never recommend this place and our hearts are broken over what our family member experienced. I would not recommend.

The Nurses are Lazy.
