Concordia of Bridgeville Retirement Community was terrific. My Mom was in an independent apartment, but later moved to Assisted Living. Both buildings had wonderful caring professionals. My sister and I were thankful for the care our Mom received.
The facility staff are great but management is not. They FORCED my aunt on their hospice without letting my family decide which people its YOUR CHOICE! She died miserably they refuse proper medication for her and gave her Lasix for secretions! In case you dont know secretions arent fluid! 🤦♀️ Them forcing to use their horrible hospice is ILLEGAL they didnt even give them the chance to interview hospices that is completely illegal….. most people dont know that so i wanted to be sure to know!
So far so good it’s been one month my aunt is very happy living there . Gives me peace of mind knowing she’s being taken care of . She has made friends and really likes all the staff members. Everyone seems very kind . Very happy I found this place .
Edited from 2 stars to 4 on 6/11/2025.** After some initial concerns following the sale of Country Meadows to Concordia in 2024, we ended up being satisfied with the community after the initial adjustment period. Although the housekeeping was not at the level once maintained by Country Meadows, the caring of the staff remained unchanged. Many of the old staff were held over, and the new faces had the same dedication to providing loving care that the old staff did. They were loving and supportive even as her needs increased and her life drew to a close. At the end of the day, I would choose to place my aunt in the care of the staff there again - and that really is the most critical thing when you are looking for a long-term care facility.
My mother who recently passed away spent her last few months in personal care at Country Meadows. I cannot say enough good things about the people who cared for my mother stage of her life. They consistently demonstrated kindness, patience, respect, grace and impeccable care. Every single person, no matter what their role, was kind and caring towards not only my mother but me, her family. I highly recommend Country Meadows to anybody who needs a safe place for their loved ones where they will be given the best care you would want for the one you love. I'm so grateful for all they did for her and me during her time there. 5 stars doesn't seem like enough.
Very good Retirement Community. Excellent for independent living, managements take care of details and I had a great progress with my therapies and also for the daily fitness classes. The recreational sections are greats. Nursing and meals are very good too. I was for short term but my experience was fantastic!!!
You can definitely tell the difference within an establishment when it is family owned and operated. The employee engagement, the support, opportunity to continue growth and development is just a small fraction of what Country Meadows fosters. I observe the buildings so full of love and laughter every day I am here. I’m grateful to have the Country Meadows family (coworkers and residents) when I am away from my own!
Recently I became a resident at Country Meadows of South Hills independent living community. I felt since my wife passed it was time to move back to my hometown Pittsburgh. My decision to relocate was only successful due to Maureen Sirianni total commitment to doing everything necessary to secure my long-term senior living needs. I almost made a huge mistake by committing to another senior community without first visiting and asking the right questions, that needs to be asked. But thankfully Maureen guided me through the plus and minues of senior services. So before you commit to a senior community you owe it yourself to tour Country Meadows. After your visit the decision will be crystal clear. This is the place for you!
