The kindness, caring and helpfulness of everyone from CNA's to Nurses to the Doctor to Housekeeping, Kitchen staff, PT OT ST, even the Activities people made all the difference. Everyone was great, Facility was clean, My room was nice, the food was good. Everyone there was very caring and nice, and there were even some that went way above and beyond their job to take care of me and it really meant a lot. I would like to thank everyone who took such good care of me and I would like to give a special thanks to Jess Stitt for going above and beyond to help us. Thank you.
Wonderful. Compassionate care. Could use more employees
I’ve always been able to get in in a reasonable time to see the doctor very professional if needed send you to a specialist. I recommend them highly.
The nurses and staff were so wonderful with my mother. We became part of the Concordia family
I found the staff ( nurses, cna’s, doctors, cleaning staff, PT’s, OT’s, etc) to be well trained and working towards the patient’s individual goals. Questions are answered and call bells are answered in a timely manner. There are PT and OT sessions daily Monday-Friday with a different schedule on weekends. Patients are able to select their daily menus based on their medical status. It is possible to get drinks and snacks by request, again based on patients’ medical protocols. If I need medical rehab in the future, I will definitely return to Concordia Cabot.
The Concordia office in Cabot is absolutely fantastic. From management to staff to providers, everyone is top tier. You can truly feel how much they care about people and their overall well-being. The providers are experts in their fields and continuously work to stay up to date on advancements in healthcare so they can give their patients the best care possible. I couldn’t recommend them more.
Up-beat,friendly staff. Very professional.
My dad had a stroke and traumatic brain injury in the spring. He had a very rough 3 1/2 months and to our family’s heartbreak he passed in the summer. There is so much I can say about the care he received. He had been hospitalized 3 times. He spent time in a skilled nursing facility in Chicora that was terrible and neglectful. He had excellent home care from Concordia Visiting Nurses and Therapists (OT, PT, and Speech). And dad spent a couple weeks at Concordia in Cabot for therapy. As you can see, it was an emotional roller coaster. After his stay at the other nursing home we honestly had our guard up when he went to Concordia. We spent all waking hours with Dad. We quickly realized Concordia was no comparison to the other nursing home. When you walk in you are greeted by a sincerely friendly receptionist. Dad received PT, OT, and Speech. I would watch therapists Tony and Maddie work with my dad. They genuinely wanted him to recover. You could see it in the way they worked with dad. The nurses and aides treated dad with respect and kindness. They understood he was confused because of the stroke damage and they were patient with him. When we would ring for the nurse or aide someone came quickly. I wish I could remember the nurses and aides names that worked with Dad but truthfully we liked them all. There is a balcony we would sit on with a beautiful view. There is a pond and gazebo we took dad to get outside. They also have a beautiful courtyard that the residents, patients, and families can sit at. The last time my dad was in the hospital Concordia’s one pastor stopped almost daily in my dad’s hospital room to pray with me for my dad. When my dad passed we received an online condolence from one of his nurses that cared for him. She always had joked around with dad. Another nurse also extended his condolences. And Karen, an administrator was amazing through it all. I would highly recommend Concordia in Cabot based on the care I witnessed my Dad receive there. The respect and kindness they showed my Dad meant so much to me.
