Harston Hall In Flourtown, Pennsylvania is a loving place. That is safe, beautiful with excellent patient plans enough staff and a lot of kindness. Dr Paul TEICH
This is the only rehab that I will allow my dad to go to. The workers in the Care team are great. The administrator Tammy is awesome! Anytime I have a problem in talk to her about it. It gets addressed right away. The facility is clean, which is a plus it just needs some minor upgrades in a second elevator.. But all in all I give it five stars because it’s deserving.
My mom entered Harston Hall after having double pneumonia, flu and sepsis. She came into the facility unable to walk and a dialysis patient. The care my mom received was truly a team effort. Nursing staff, and the aides were very supportive . My mom had never been in a care facility and this was a huge change from being in the comfort of her own home. Initially mom was difficult with this change. The Social Worker Kris, kept a great line of communication, OT and PT were proactive in her care. The nursing staff was on top of her medication and the aides were not only attentive but took care of…
My mom entered Harston Hall after having double pneumonia, flu and sepsis. The nursing staff was on top of her medication and the aides were not only attentive but took care of my mom as if she was their family member. Her room was always clean, sheets changed and she never missed dialysis ( the only challenge was at times she went down later in the day then earlier). Tammy and John ensured our needs as a family were not only heard but demonstrated patience and ensuring our concerns were addressed rapidly with care. The only reason Harston Hall does not receive a 5 star is due to the food. Mom did not care for the food, but she states her breakfasts was ok as well as the grilled cheese. There are so many folks we need to thank Shannon, from the business office was a gem and assisted us navigating her insurance , social services ensured when mom was discharged her dialysis in the community was reestablished as well as home health and out patient supports were provided. Again the aides and nursing staff on the second floor both day and evening shifts were incredibly kind, patient and the true super heros.
The entire team at Complete Care at Harston Hall has our heartfelt gratitude for their love and generosity. From our very first inquiry about respite care for my Aunt Charmaine, Tammy Mauz and the staff were incredibly helpful. My aunt speaks so highly of everyone there. If you are looking for a nursing home that truly cares, this is the place to go—10/10. They consistently go above and beyond to ensure their residents are well taken care of. Thank you all once again!
Very beautiful establishment. Did not have that "nursing home" smell. Everyone was very friendly and the resident that we visited said she loved being there. I have already recommended it to a friend who is looking for a place to stay!
Today, I visited my church member and went down stairs to socialize with some of the other residents and a couple staff members had brought about 10 residents outside to sit under the awning to socialize. We were able to enjoy the sun, watch the neighborly deer that comes by to enjoy the vegetation, listen to music. When I was leaving we are were able to join together for group prayer. I want to thank those staff members who diligently go out of their way to make sure the residents have an opportunity to gather, socialize, play games and on this day enjoy creation. It not what you have but what you make it. Thanks to the staff we were able to make the most of our visit. Thank you for all you do. Thank you for honoring their humanity and need for nature and nuture. I know its not easy but it greatly needed and appreciated. May God Bless You Rev. K.Rush
Staff is professional, courteous and everyone was so kind and helpful.
Complete Care at Harston Hall was like a family to my husband and me when he had an accident and badly injured himself in a fall at home last Christmas. The kindness of the staff there was wonderful: John and Tammy who are the managers couldn’t do enough for us during the three and a half months my husband was there. Kriss Griffith, the Social Worker, was amazing, and Kelly the head of Physical Therapy did everything she could to get my husband back on his feet again. The Nursing staff and nursing aides were so kind, and the maintenance crew did their best to keep everything running through a very tough winter. Yes, the building is a bit old, but if I had to choose between a kind, caring staff or a perfect modern facility, I would choose the caring and kind staff who tried everything they could to help my husband regain his strength again, and made us feel we were part of a family.
