Resident & family reviews

The employee at this establishment has no respect for patients or the staff that are respectful. They are quick to tell on a patient for smoking cigarettes. The management don't even do anything about their employees smoking weed while working in the building or out in cars in the parking lot. Also they violate the hippa law by talking on their cell phones while dealing with a patient and their medications.

The facility needs to be updated and cleaned! The room assigned to my family member was on the second floor. I always try to see the bright side of situations, but it felt like a run down state hospital. Four people sharing a toilet. I would rather urinate outside. The room was horrific. I didn’t have the opportunity to rate nursing because we are removing our loved one from the facility. Less than 24 hour stay was all that was required for us! I will say Jennifer from Social Services was very kind.

Every single person I encounterd here was extremely supportive and helpful. Appointments were made and transportation was provided for all appointments. It is apparent the entire staff cares about the well being of your loved one.

My uncle received really good care. The staff were helpful, knowledgeable and kind. I greatly appreciated that they treated him like family. If he needed care again, I would absolutely have him return to Kadima Cheswick.

Wouldn’t put my worst enemy in this place. They were eager to start hospice on my relative. They discontinued insulin and other medicines before hospice was even agreed to. Moved my relative to a new location and she is like a new person. She wasn’t even in the place two months and had to be sent to the hospital twice. Might be because of understaffing , miscommunication but still for what they charge you would expect more.Didn’t want to give it a star but it would not post unless I did.

If they didn't give diabetics regular beverages they may do better. I asked for a second console cause I couldn't believe the deplorable conditions they keep people in. Idk how a medical establishment can employ so many people that do not care about there patients let alone there quality of life. This place needs shut down for malpractice and Healthcare violations.

This is really Kadima Cheswick with the name change, and my mother’s second Kadima location. When that business office closes for the day all professionalism leaves the building too. They don’t answer the phones, and they won’t give you an update on your loved ones. They transfer back and forth between all three floors and you never get anywhere or anyone for that matter. They screen your calls. I don’t think this place deserves one star because my mother was at both locations without her bio machine for three months until elevated Co2 along with other issues landed her in the hospital. She was receiving oxygen but not her bio for sleep apnea and eventually her blood gases got too high. I had to tell them to send her out to the hospital. That’s another thing they wait too long to decide when it’s medically necessary to send someone to the hospital. I want her transferred out asap.

My Aunt is here and is having many of the same negative experiences. They take her clothes, her toiletries. I have even been putting her name on the front of them and they still disappear. Each time I see her, shes in someone else's clothes. The RNs are in their 70s themselves and refuse to offer any assistance. I have problems with very basic tasks like having them medicate her when shes agitated. We are told the nurse is on break. There are some good employees here, but not nearly enough to balance out the negative. Our concerns and questions are never relayed to the physician. My family is having difficulty with a transfer out, because they will not assist us. If you can help it, dont allow any loved ones to live in this place.
