Never went there, but from what I have heard I never want to. Care is not easy but it takes honesty, and so much more.
Perfect for me! Delicious food, plenty of exercise options Monday through Friday, plus a gym I can use whenever, monthly day trips, afternoon and evenings card games, mahjong, etc., monthly Bookclub, great pool, beautiful apartment, and many, many nice people that are now friends! Anyone who is bored or lonely is because they want to, but it’s also okay to just stay mostly quiet in your apartment when you’re in that kind of mood. I love it here!

This is a beautiful facility. There are many features that make Chestnut Ridge stand out from their competition. The staff are very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The residents are young, full of energy and love to have fun. Several of their residents lead exercise classes such as QiGong, Line Dancing, and Tap Dance.
Chestnut Ridge at Rodale is a great place to live. The people are wonderful. The apartment is terrific. We are very happy here.
What can I say? It took me a while to feel comfortable to the idea of moving here - changing so drastically my way-of-life. I couldnt have imagined how wonderful a decision that was. Truly, Im amongst some of the kindest, smartest and most generous people Ive known. So grateful every day for finding Chestnut Ridge!!
