I did my last nursing clinical here and let me just say that my experience here was amazing. My preceptors Heather & Natalie were top tier and were amazing from start to finish. I learned a lot from both of them and the residents who I came to know, adore, and cherish. Courtnie R. and Melissa were also amazing nurses and I aspire to be just like them. Thank you Cedarwood for giving me the chance to complete my final hours needed for my BSN. With Love, Michelle
The check in process was very easy. The girl at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The facility was clean and did not smell bad as soon facilities do. The visitors restroom was very clean. My visit was a good experience. The only thing that was difficult was leaving the floor. I thought the elevator was broken. I stood there several minutes pressing the button. The nursing staff was on the phone. Finally a resident told me the staff had to unlock it. Over all a good experience.
I haven't spent much time there yet..my dad was just admitted yesterday..but they're very nice..And very helpful..And do everything they can to make him comfortable..Thank You
Cedarwood could use a refresh in paint and basic amenities and supplies IE room curtains and basic bedside dressers. But the staff is kind and gentle and wonderful and I truly appreciate the help that they are giving my mother during her rehabilitation. Elderly Care is definitely not easy and every one of of those staff members try their hardest.
I stayed at this facility for 4 days and was truly impressed. Everything was so clean, well-kept, and welcoming from the moment I arrived. Bobbie, Penny, Steph, and Danielle on the 2nd floor are phenomenal nurses who genuinely care for their patients and go above and beyond every day. Karen from the 4th floor also truly loves her patients and shows so much compassion in her care. Mike, the supervisor, is excellent at his job and really looks out for both staff and residents. Olivia in activities is incredibly sweet and does such a great job making residents feel included and engaged. The level of care and kindness here honestly touched my heart. Highly recommend this facility.
The Staff have been amazing! Super clean!! Also you can tell the patients are cared for
We are clergy
When I went to visit my grandmother they had her in a BROKEN hospital bed that was only the wheels height off the floor! My grandmother could barely walk let alone expect her to get out of a hospital bed that was 6 inches off the floor like what’s wrong with you people!!! She would need help using the bathroom & they would let her sit on the toilet waiting for 30 minutes at a time pressing the call button for someone to come and help. The last words they ever said to me before my grandmother died I’ll NEVER forget. My grandmother wouldn’t open her eyes and was barely responsive. “Oh Shes fine Shes just playing possum.” I said, no she wouldn’t do that to me there’s something wrong and she needs to be evaluated. “Oh, well she was fine this morning. She just probably doesn’t want to see you.” TWO DAYS LATER SHE DIED!!!!! I can’t believe it cost 8k a month for her to SHARE a room with some other crazy woman she was afraid of, sleep in a BROKEN hospital bed, & only have an OLD 90s BOX TV that was put in stations she would never had watched like MTV, and then when she would call for help they would have her wait 30+ minutes at a time sitting on the toilet for help!! STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!! Overpriced, pathetic care.
