As a resident of 9 months, I have witnessed rudeness from cna's and nursing staff. I have whated 2 hours for a aide. The kitchen has menus you can pick from but most times they send what they want to send or things that I didn't eat. I have seen spit in oatmeal. This place has a no pet policy, yet the administrator brings her dog to work everyday. This place is a hot mess
So my husband is in there right now for rehab on his knee. He had a second knee replacement and has a torn tendon as well and is in a leg immobilizer. We have steps or he would be home. He is 49 years old. But looks older due to his grey hair. I guess if they think you are old and not of your right mind, as most folks in nursing homes are, it gives them the right to not care for you properly! He has not received his medicine on time but once. First day he was there he went from noon at the having his pain meds at the hospital before being sent there. I guess if they think you are old and not of your right mind, as most folks in nursing homes are, it gives them the right to not care for you properly! He has not received his medicine on time but once. First day he was there he went from noon at the having his pain meds at the hospital before being sent there. Until after ( 6:30 am the THE NEXT MORNING (16 1/2 hours with no pain meds).. Mind you his leg has been cut in half, an he has a torn tendon on top of that!. The staff has been saying they are giving him his meds . They are not! So where has the meds gone ? If it said he received them at 8 pm? Is someone is taking them for themselves or selling them (it is oxycodone)! What would you think!!! OR ARE THEY JUST PLAIN LAZY! I don't want to hear the excuses they are busy. even if they are a little late it is better than not at all. I have done hospice and home health for years! THIS IS PURE NEGLECT! IT IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE ! My husband said he is checking himself out. This place is terrible! Imagine your loved ones there not in there right mind how they are being treated! I will be demanding to see the books/ computer records when I arrive there this afternoon. I told my husband to take a picture of the meds and the times and to document everything! If I don't get answers We will be calling an attorney!
Excellent staff.
The lovely nurse angus was amazing. I was disappointed that a family member has to walk all the way to the lobby for filtered water
My dad spent two years at this facility. Food was awful. Multiple requests for different food, ie chocolate milk instead of white, no fish, all ignored. When you are in a facility like this, the only thing you have to look forward to is what you eat. Very little outside time, very limited activities, rooms barely cleaned. Two stars for my dad being mostly clean when I visited and some of the nursing staff were great. This is a facility that cares much more about the bottom line than they do the patients. Zero acknowledgment of his death, just a notification of outstanding bill.
Very clean when you walk in you're not hit with the odors most nursing homes have Staff very nice
Facility was clean & staff was very friendly
I can’t say enough good things about this facility. My father previously had a horrible experience in a different facility. Carlisle Skilled Nursing has been the exact opposite of that bad experience. The staff is always caring and takes time with their patients, which is especially important for someone with dementia. The other patients I see in the hallways look happy and are smiling. The doctors have been attentive and have gone out of their way to ensure he has the care he needs to achieve his goals and get back home. I leave here knowing he is in good hands while I am away. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a care facility for their family member.
