About this community

Brookshire LLP in Manheim, Pennsylvania is a private, age-qualified community of custom-built homes located in rural Lancaster County. The development was planned and is operated by the community owners, who handle construction, management and maintenance. Residents live in single-family homes within a compact site layout; the community emphasizes a relaxed, secure and peaceful atmosphere and provides a site plan on its public materials.

Day-to-day life reflects low-density residential living rather than institutional services: homes and grounds are owner-managed, and common-area maintenance is coordinated by the community. Office hours are listed for a weekday morning. Information available on the community website focuses on design, planning and home options rather than medical or assisted-living care.

Love living here.

You have to pay a land lease fee. Mine was $427 per month so I moved out as soon as I found another house.
