Brookmount is wonderful! After experiencing several rehabilitation centers for my mother-in-law over the course of the past several years, I can’t say enough about Brookmount. I found the staff to be easily accessible and approachable. I felt they really listened. The physical therapy department truly was great on getting Mom back on her feet in order to return home. I do not hesitate to recommend Brookmount. Thank you!
This facility has an amazing staff. The nurses and aides are extremely helpful, compassionate, and truly caring toward their patients. Unfortunately, while my dad was staying in the south hallway, he witnessed a patient repeatedly verbally abusing the nurses and aides using vulgar and inappropriate language. After my dad was transferred to the north hallway, the same patient was also moved there, and the abusive behavior has continued. Management should take action and not allow staff to be treated this way on a repeated basis. The nurses and aides work hard and deserve a safe and respectful…

I genuinely feel for the dedicated employees who continue to provide excellent care despite this situation.
I have been coming in and out for numerous times every time I’ve come here I ran into a bunch of good staff They take such great care of me and nurses that treat me well. There is this one aid in particular and as she says Brook from Brookmont, she always takes care of me and gives me iced teas and snacks and takes the time to talk to me. I also appreciate Cna Jackie nurse Jen cna John I can not remember everyone but I am grateful for them all.
My father was in this dump little over 6 years ago. He died due to their neglect. The place was dirty and the staff was rude and inexperienced. They lied to us and said my father passed away in the bathroom other nurse said in the bed one said they held his hand other said that never happened. They never expressed their sympathy after his passing. No call to us to ever follow up. This place deserves no stars. My father would have had better care in Alcatraz. !!!!!!
The best!
I came in at 5:30 PM. I told them I was in extreme pain from a chronic back problem. I did not, nor was I offered, anything for pain for 8 hrs. Their pharmacy is 4-5 hrs. away and showed up at 1:00 AM. The food quality is poor. The building was poorly maintained and smelled of urine The 1st room they put me in smelled so strongly of urine, it brought tears to my eyes. I left there within 19 hrs. I personally wouldn't put my dog there.!
Truly disappointed. Waited weeks as I was told I had a job as an activities assistant, I was just waiting for my background to clear. Not realizing that my criminal background showed some past mistakes I've have corrected to which is why I'm here. I was asked why didn't I say anything before they ran it? Because I really didn't think it would show. After speaking to Natasha about this I was not given the job considering I was just an activities assistant in my past job and RIVERSTREET. Life happens and I had to move back here. But I am a very good person who is incredibly empathetic, extremely spiritual and loved working as an activities aid. It gave me purpose every day. I put my heart into it. I was very good at my Job my past boss even wrote a letter stating how reliable I am. I wasn't ever late and barely ever missed work unless I was sick, got a long with everyone and loved my residents like family. It was hard to even leave there. I don't have any felony's or anything like that either. it's just outrageous how I was judged by my past.ect and if you they wanted to know more why didn't they ask before the background check?. It's ok. I couldn't work for judge mental people like that! I've made great come back and it getting even better. I'm a true empath I will find a job where I will get the respect I deserve. I'm a really hard worker and. Good worker and at least deserved a chance especially with a letter and you called my old boss. I'm in recovery 5 years. So spiritually connected.. this was not the job for me at least not there. It's ok Good luck getting someone with a heart as big as mine! It's not right. God bless you tho. And I will pray for you because I wasn't fit for a chance? When literally my last job Was the same thing. AND I did amazing! God bless and take care!
This facility killed my dad, a navy veteran who served our country. Even the EMT at the hospital told us how they messed up!!! If you love your dad (or family member) DO NOT put them here!!!!
