Brookdale Murrysville is a home-like memory care facility that exhibits compassion for its residents and routinely demonstrates the expertise of its staff.
We toured Brookdale Murrysville. It looked very clean, and the people were friendly. The room was very nice, but the price was higher than what we wanted to pay. The staff was very nice. We just saw people getting ready to do the activities. They were sitting around. We saw the rooms, and they were white and cheery-looking. My sister was a little upset with the woman who took us on the tour. She told us to leave our purses in her office, and then when we came back to tour, she gave her keys to someone. When we went there, the door was open, and our purses were there, and there was somebody in…

This was not the place for my husband. It did not meet his needs despite requiring a full-time aide to assist. The facility is welcome and staff is friendly and willing to go the extra mile. The meals are delicious.
Make sure you family member medication is getting ordered on time because they don’t and family can go days without medication because they didn’t order it right
These people are so rude. I wouldn't suggest taking your loved ones to this establishment.
Some of the staff is amazing, others steal peoples jewelry ( tracked by an airtag so not misplaced). Upper management is a joke and constantly changing. They will increase the resident's monthly fee SIGNIFICANTLY stating increased level of care is needed. Which is fine if the added staff they said was going to be added was actually added. So basically you pay for a higher level of care but do not receive any additional staff to provide more care. As with any facility, if you placed your loved one there, stay on top of everything.
There are no words to describe how horrible the experience was! Understaffed and what staff was there constantly complained! No one knew what was going on and you would get a different response on how my mother was doing based on who you talked to. All they do is wheel everyone to the TV room counting on the TV to keep patience occupied. You had to search for a nurse every time you needed something. You’d think you could at least find a nurse where they heard all the patients, but that wasn’t the case! My mother’s belongings kept coming up missing, especially here blankets. It was so disorganized to the point it was disgusting! They actually sent my mother to the hospital on one occasion and I was never notified by the nurses. It wasn’t till 4 hours later that I found out, only because I got a call from Forbes hospital! My mother sat there unattended for hours. That was only going into the second week of being there. It was absolutely inhumane there!
Good caring staff. Does not ignore the patients. Attentive to patients needs. We picked this community because we liked the friendliness and how they have activities for the patients.
