4.2 · 13 reviewsCarrying Staff, considerate, kind, give me complete information about my mom, Call me if they think I need to know or if they have questions about what they should do or what they need to do,, only place I can recommend or my mom wants to be since she can’t be in her home any more. I believe she is in a safe place. The building is clean, food is tasty, have substitutes if mom doesn’t like what is on the menu. Five STAR
It was a difficult decision to make, but we are happy she is doing well there. She is nonambulatory so I didn't know if they would be able to take care of her. They all do a great job. She is now getting showers regularly and gets her hair cut on a regular basis. She loves going to bingo and exercise class. She tells us the is not bad, and I have plenty to eat. I like that a nurse practiser is there weekly. It was a good decision to put her at evergreen. I know she would like to have Sunday church services.
Staff was wonderful, care was as good as it could be with the staffing level present. Have recommended Evergreen to other families.

Personal Care at Evergreen in Waynesburg is a wonderful place for your loved one! Whether staying long term or for a short respite stay we have staff that will care for your loved one as your own.
Our loved one has not participate in the activities or the meals and dining service so we cannot comment on those. Staff is great- very patient and caring. They go above and beyond to keep MIL content Roommate is very needy and causes stress but staff tries to intervene.
I toured pretty much the whole facility of Personal Care at Evergreen. We went down and started downstairs, then we went upstairs, and they showed us the whole place. They seemed like very caring people. Everyone seemed to be happy and they were out watching TV in the common area. It looked like it was extremely clean and very nice. They showed us the activity room and the common areas. They showed us where they prepare the food and I guess they do crafts and things like that in the activities area too. I didn't check their menu, but they explained that they serve hot meals, and they were getting ready to serve lunch when we left, but we did not stay for that. The staff who assisted me was very, very good, and very knowledgeable. She couldn't give me information about availability and pricing, but certainly told me about the staff and how they manage people. She also told me that if you need extra care to shower and bathe, they have that option, and that they would take care of that. She was the nurse on staff there. I don't know if it was perfect, but it's definitely very high up there. It was definitely more like a community and not a hospital type of environment. It was definitely homey too.
My mother just moved to Evergreen but I have visited with others at Evergreen and it is a wonderful place. The staff is always friendly and helpful. It is a beautiful facility and a pleasant atmosphere for my mother to live.
Personal Care at Evergreen was a smaller facility where there was some genuine care for each person without making it feel like they were in a dormitory. The first person that I spoke with showed me around the facility and showed me the community area, and it was very clean. The person that talked with me was very gracious. I kind of pulled them out in the middle of something they were doing and yet they took the time to show me around. It was a very nice facility. It had multiple floors to it and that was one of the drawbacks for me, but it doesn't necessarily make the facility a bad one. It was just something I wasn't looking for.
